Bloomberg’s jaunt to Miami to explore mass transit and green buildings is causing him a headache back home.
Reporters pressed him on why he continued with the trip despite the Bronx fire than killed nine people.
The Tracker was surprised when Bloomberg spokesman John Gallagher confirmed that the Mayor Bloomberg’s Miami trip was on – despite the devastating Bronx fire that just killed nine people.
And, at least in the press, Bloomberg paid the price. Check out this critical story from the NY Times here… and he devoted a considerable amount of time to explaining the trip on his WABC show this morning.
There was no mention of what he learned about mass transit, either.
