An offer you can't refuse


Talk about an offer you can’t refuse…

The MTA is paying $15 million to buy a building under construction at 1800 Second Ave (on the corner of 93rd St) for the Second Avenue subway, according to the procurement document.

“MTA-RE (Real Estate) contacted the owners (93rd Street Associates LLC) and expressed an interest in purchasing the property. Acknowledging MTA’s right to condemn, the owner agreed to sell…”


That’s one way to drive a bargain. Don Vito Corleone would be proud.
