My Ozzy would do great in this kind of race, and he has a whippet to train him. (We dont tell him that hes NOT a whippet) Actually, we call him a Chiwhippet.
I have a three pound chi that can outrun all my other dogs. I get a lot of exercise trying to keep up with her. Maybe she should run in some races.
B-J and I checked it out because we live in Valley Stream. I went back home and got my Bunny Rose ( Chi - Italian Greyhound) and she made it to the finals, which was won by Maddie of course. She didn't run nearly as fast as she can. B-J's Chillie also made her debut. Hundreds of chihuahuas, it was heaven.
Yeah Chillie walked out of the gate and just stood there and looked around because we were late and I handed her to the volunteer who held her at the gate and ran to the end but Cnillie didn't get the chnce to see where I went and wasn't held up to see where I was so it was my bad. But she remained steady and walked calmly right behind the man who was guiding her to me. I thought she might panic so she did good for the first time really. It was good for her to get out and be around other Chihuahuas. at any rate. Next year we will do it right. Bunny Rose was awesone Nancy,:)
I didn't enter Muareen because she is so aloof I figured she would just stand there. lol Hmm maybe she ould have runn to me. Next year she tries also.
Was great fun all around. We had fun and they are zonked out. lol
B-J
Oh Nancy and B-J - I sure wish Tinkerbell, Sophie and I could have been try to see the Chihuahua races and maybe enter too. Wouldn't that have been fun. Congrats Bunny Rose on making it to the finals. Nancy, I renamed my Sophie "Sophie Rose" because I loved Bunny Rose's name so much. Also, she is like a pretty little rose - it just fit her.
You would have had a ball Kathleen. Maddie one of the champion runners won this race.
Bunny Rose is 3rd from the far right - woman with black hair was starting Bunny Rose

Oh and here is a little of what the day was like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AUr2LsRse0&feature=related
Oh such darlings. I am a real MUSH for chihuahuas! Tinkerbell and Sophie MUST have some of those fancy red racing sunglasses.
That Bunny Rose is a real Q-T! Way to go little girl - show them your stuff....
Any news on Sarge, Vivi and of course Darlene's recovery?
What Cuties! Were there any prizes for the top finishers?
Vivi's candles are low, I could only light a few.

Hi Everyone,
I also have a request for prayers right now. My cairn, wesley who will be 17 yrs. old next month, has an infection in his mouth that is causing bleeding. He woke up yesterday and where he slept on my bed there was a big blood spot. The vet checked him out today and they can't find where exactly he's bleeding from, the gums or his teeth. I guess if he sleeps a certain way it causes the blood to flow out his mouth. Anyway, he's on antibiotics for a week and if that doesn't stop the bleeding then we have to opt for putting him under and finding out what is causing this and fix it. The only thing is, his age and asythma(spelling) they're concerned about. He may not make it. So, if you could please keep him in your prayers that the antibiotics work and he doesn't have to be put under.
Thanks so much,
Laura
He will be in my prayers, Laura. I know how worried you must be.
We are here for you.
Laura .... My every prayer is with you, as I have a Cairn and she is so very near and dear to my heart...... I'll pray all night !!! My darling, Genevieve, has terrible allergy problems.... she's suffering from interdigital cysts... It kills me before the cysts rupture - when she limps in pain. May your dear, darling Wesley draw strength from your love for him and God Bless you for the 17 years of love you've already given him.... You'll both be in my thoughts !!!!! Love heals !!!!
LAURA - Kathleen and the Memphis Mob (Tinkerbell, Onnie, Sophie and Bo) are all praying for that sweet little guy Wesley. I know how you must be feeling. Onnie got very sick on me on Sunday night, and on Monday morning we were at the vet. We are still not sure what was happening, but she is much better today. It breaks our hearts when these little ones are sick and cannot tell us what is hurting.
Kisses and hugs from all of us.
DARLENE - I believe you are probably talking about the blocs they do on your back for pain management. I have those with my rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and osteoporesis. I can tell you they are truly miracle workers for helping. If your doctor is like mine, he is an anesthesiologist and gives me some heavy sedation to dull any discomfort. Don't be afraid of the procedure. It should not be bad and will help you a bunch.
Hi Everyone,
Thank you all so much for your support and prayers. I stayed home from work today to be with Wesley because something in my gut told me to stay home. Well, about an hour after taking his antibiotic pill he started to wheeze. When he stopped that he started pacing. I know he likes to go on the bed so I went on the bed with him and he was climbing on my head, something he would never do. I put him on his side and started to rub his belly. He shivered a little bit but finally went to sleep. When he woke up he was fine. And also, the bleeding from his mouth slowed up quite a bit, just a little overnight but this morning nothing. He gave me quite a scare. I guess us parents know when something is wrong with our kids. I'm just so glad I was here with him. Again, thank you all,
Laura
Oh, I'm so happy Laura.... I hope your little Wesley continues on tthe right track, Bless his little heart ! And, Bless you for be such a good fur baby Mom !! Best Wishes and please keep us posted on Wesley.
Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to thank all of you again for your support and prayers and I do believe the prayers helped Wesley. He is on day 3 of antibiotics and no bleeding whatsoever. He slept on his back all last night and was doing just great.
KAY - thank you so much.
KATHLEEN - Thank you also and how is Onnie doing? My prayers will be with her for a speedy recovery.
PATTI & GENEVIEVE - Thank you also, too. How old is your cairn? Wesley, even at going on 17 is holding his own pretty good. He can't go up and down the stairs anymore or jump on anything. But he walks just fine. He does love to sleep in late though....lol.
Laura
Laura... I'm so happy for you and Wesley - I hope all continues to go well. Genevieve will be 7 in November. I had to make a "temporary" move 2 years ago and it was really bad for Genevieve - it introduced her to a bunch of different pollens she wasn't used to and she's had numerous cysts and 4 surgeries since. We discovered she has a severe allergy to oak trees - there are tons around me - lots of cedars, and birch trees, too, her other allergens - it couldn't have been a worse place for me to have moved her, but I just didn't know it at the time.... I feel terrible. I hope to get out of this situation by fall and hopefully move back to my hometown - there are very few oak trees there. I pray she'll do great there. She has brought me, and my elderly parents so much joy, it's a heartache that she's suffered so. But, she's a little trooper and I'm glad that God sent her to me.... I prayer for the day she'll walk pain free.....
Patti & Genevieve - It's been a rough road with Wesley the past few years. Before that him and I used to walk everyday. We live 2 mins. from the beach so the walkway was always our favorite route. We had to stop the walking when we would get halfway on the way back home and he would sit and not move. That meant he was tired and I had to carry him the rest of the way. But he did so enjoy it.
I feel so bad for Genevieve and for you having to see her go through all this. I pray that she will be pain free real soon also. I also have a yorkie who is going to be 14 soon. She is my baby but she isn't into the walking or anything that Wes and I do. She is more or less a couch potato princess. But I love them both dearly.
Please post with updates on Genevieve as I will be praying for her speedy recovery.
Laura
Here is some agility news and inspiration.
Lis Kristoff is well known in the agility world for turning Chinese Crested's into great agility dogs when pretty much no one thought of them as such.. Here is Lis and Diva's ADCH run about 1 month ago. It has been viewed 105,000 times on YouTube. Agility Dog Champion is a title that takes years to get for most people who eventually get it and most never do, so the ADCH is just the icing on the cake.
Lis Kristoff died on Tuesday.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zlhkMwppKw
Lis Kristoff's website which tells her story.
http://www.divadawg.com/mydogs_files/_vti_cnf/index.htm
Below is a crosspost Lis Kristoff's letter from which quotes were taken in the video.
"Last Tuesday I was admitted to hospital, for eight years I have fought breast cancer. I have been diagnosed now with AML Leukemia and have been given approximately three weeks to spend on this wonderful earth. I have chosen not to do any more chemo as I believe I have received and given all this life has to give and take.
With the help of my dear friends in Dallas we were able to talk the Dr's into springing me out of hospital today. Tomorrow at the Dallas Agility Working Group's trial I will run my darling Chinese Crested Diva for the last time - it wont be pretty, no one will be able to guess who's handling style I will use and I don't even know
myself - just staying on my feet will be an achievement and to run with my very best friend and to be among friends will be enough to give me the energy I need to get through the day.
I am thrilled I will also get to watch the veterans parade and to pay
tribute one last time to all the great dogs that have helped form this sport that I so love.
If you want to do anything for me pray that Diva and I can achieve a super Q, it is all we need to become ADCH together, but even if we don't get it - I know I am blessed to share what time I have with my dogs and my
friends.
Please wish Angela Lancaster all the very best with my dogs in the future, she is going from the cheesiest Yorkies to a couple of naked Cresteds and I know my dogs will continue to be well loved and respected and they will be in the agility ring again at some time to play.
Many thanks for all your love and support over the years, I am indeed one of the lucky ones that get to say thanks in 'person' before my time.
Remember this weekend to enjoy your friends, dogs and should success come, enjoy and embrace it, if it doesn't never forgot the love of thisgame and the friendships we have forged. Thanks to everyone who helped mewith my journey I sure do appreciate you all.
Run Fast, Run Happy"

If you want to know about her Just try googling "Lis Kristoff" It's a both sad and inspiring story.
I have tried twice to post this great video and the blog won't let me. Soooo how about this: go to Google and search "Lis Kristoff". You'll see all kinds of links to the video of her running Diva her Chinese crested in their agility ADCH run. It's worth the effort.
Make sure you guys watch Lisa's last run with Diva on Youtube. Be sure to get the tissue box out before you watch it.
I saw that video recently. It was wonderful to watch but definitely have some kleenix nearby.

Judge Orders Vick to Pay Bank $2.4M
By MICHAEL FELBERBAUM,AP
Posted: 2008-05-09 00:52:07
RICHMOND, Va. (May 8) - A federal judge ordered imprisoned quarterback Michael Vick to repay more than $2.4 million to a Canadian bank for defaulting on a loan. The Royal Bank of Canada sued Vick in September, arguing his guilty plea to a federal dogfighting charge - and the resulting impact on his career - prevented him from repaying the loan.
If anyone lives or knows anyone in this area of NJ, can you please help find this rescue dog, this is from a good friend of ours who is asking for help.
Thanks so much..
TeeToo, a two year old terrier mix, who was transported from
Griffin, GA to the Jersey Animal Coalition a few weeks ago, RAN AWAY FROM HER ADOPTIVE HOME IN MAPLEWOOD, NEW JERSEY and has been missing for three weeks. TeeToo (the shelter named her "Tillie" but she does not respond to that) was startled and wiggled out of her harness and ran away.
TeeToo is not well socialized, and is unlikely to be caught by hand absent some illness or injury. There have been numerous sightings of TeeToo in the area, and people familiar with the area say that it sounds like she is staying within a 5-8 block area. She has been seen near the Seth Boyden School and at the Quick Check store close to the school. She is probably hiding during the day and coming out at night when things are quiet.
I was TeeToo's foster mom in Georgia, and I am utterly devastated at this turn of events. I feel helpless! Please send this information to everyone you know in New Jersey, especially if they might be willing to go to the Maplewood area to search for TeeToo.
I am attaching a photograph of TeeToo that was taken shortly before she was transported. I am pasting below a photo taken by her adoptive family.
Doreen at the Jersey Animal Coalition is most familiar with all the sightings of TeeToo and is in contact with a woman who has been setting a trap for TeeToo. The JAC number is 973-763-7322.
Please send this to all your New Jersey contacts!

Vivi only has ten candles. If you have time please light some. I am going there now.
LAURA - Thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers for Onnie. She is much better now, trying to chew up my pillow again so I think the girl is back. We think she had some type of virus possibly, but not sure. He put her on tetracycline and this seemed to do the trick. I pray little Wesley will be okay. Give him a hug please.
COULD I ASK FOR SERIOUS PRAYERS PLEASE? Here is the post from Gina regarding Madison. I just cried when I read this. Gina has the most challenging job of a mother as the caretaker for precious Madison. Please take a moment and say a prayer for her. Also, an e-mail to her would mean so much I know. I'm including her website in case anyone want to post a sweet message and prayer on there for her.
http://www.princessmadison.org
May 10 Update from Gina:
I have been completely overrun with emotion the past few weeks. I have not really talked about it, but we have had a lot of trouble with nursing services. Madison is approved for 64 hours per week of home health nursing. This is an amazing amount of help. The problem, is that nurses go to home health because they don't want to work the evening shifts at hospitals anymore. They want a comfy 8:00 - 4:00 job that allows them to be home by dinnertime. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for Madison. She is in school until 3:00 so I need coverage from 3:00 on. We had a wonderful nurse that ended up going out of the country to get married. We were very happy for her, but anxiously awaited her return. She ended up being gone almost exactly 5 months and we had NO full time nurse until about 2 weeks ago. She has since returned, but being that her new husband lives out of the country, I expressed a bit of concern for going back with this nurse now that we have a full time nurse. If she decided to go back in 6 months, the nurse we currently have would be with another patient and we would again end up nurseless. So, the agency talked with the nurse and she understood my concerns and agreed to just work weekends while the current nurse works during the week. Two days later, our current nurse decides she wants day shift which made us sad because she is a wonderful nurse as well. But, I figured we had the other nurse that could work the week and if she ended up moving, we would deal with that when the time came. Then it gets worse. I get a call yesterday and was informed that the nurse we have been waiting for upped and left with no notice. She got another job and came in to the office to let them know she was leaving in a few days. She was scheduled to work with madison this weekend, and she would not be doing that. First of all, I think it was incredibly unprofessional. I do understand about getting other jobs. But, there is a process that should be followed. Beyond that, I am intensly hurt and frustrated that my daughter is not getting what she needs.
I feel that the weight of the world is on my shoulders. I have been told that the cross crawl has to be done very often for it to be most effective. In other words, if she doesn't get better, it's because I'm not doing everything I can for her. I feel such a desperation to do everything and anything and it's just not possible. I have no nursing. I have three other kids. I can't do it all!
Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I should be happy celebrating the joy of being a mother. Instead, I can't stop the heartbreak surrounding Madison and the feelings of anxiety and frustration and hurt. Why can't I just be calm and know that God will fix this? Tears stain my cheeks and I just wish I could wake up and it was March 21, 2006. Help me Lord! Help calm my soul. Let me know you are here and you will bring good from this. Help me Lord!
I want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!
To Gina, especially. We all have you in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself. You are very important to your family who loves you. I am praying that the next call you get is about a wonderful nurse who wants to help care for Madison during the times you need help. You are a wonderful mother and an inspiration to me.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!
A DAY TO CELEBRATE LIFE AND LOVE
.
Dear Gina, you are very loving and good Mother to all of your children. May God bless you on this day and every day.
May God bless us all.
May He bring to us our heart's desire and grant us a very special miracle. The miracle of Vivi.
Miracles do happen. And dreams do come true.
Good morning Daddy God. We thank you for all the love and care you have poured out upon us. Your loving care and tender mercies are so precious to our hearts. We ask that you bring beloved Vivi home safely and quickly. Lead your precious soldiers to her and bring Vivi into their path. Give them a sighting of Vivi so they know where to go and bring peace into Vivi''s heart, so she will not be afraid to be seen. We bless her food, water and shelter that you have provided for her and we thank you in advance for bringing her back home where she belongs. We ask your healing grace and mighty power to continue in Pepper, Genevieve, Wesley and Zeus. Renew little Yorkie's youth like the eagle's. Surround them with your love, power and divine healing. How precious your creation is and how we love them. Daddy God, bring each and every one into perfect and vibrant health through the shed blood of Jesus who paid for our salvation and our healing. Please bring Shiloh and TeeToo home to safety Daddy God. Please lead them to a safe place and rescue them quickly along with Vivi and Sarge as we patiently await the good news that you are about to send our way. We depend upon you for you are the Almighty creator of Heaven and Earth and you know all things. You know exactly where these precious babies are and you know who to send to them for rescue and deliverance. Thank you Daddy God for your love and guidance. We ask for your healing mercies for Darlene. She has been through so much. Bring her health and healing through your precious touch and presence. Hold her in your arms and lift her up to vibrant health. We ask for your perfect timing for Madison for the perfect nurse that you are sending her way and we ask you to strengthen and renew Gina. Help her to feel your presence and to know that you are right there with her. We ask you for your continuous healing for Madison and to bring her into perfect health. Bring her into your presence where miracles do happen. Flood our lives with your glory and redemptive love. In Jesus's Name we praise you and honor you!!!
Thank you, Betty, for your wonderful prayers for the lost and ill animals.
Most of all for keeping Vivi always and uppermost in your prayers.
May good news for her come soon.

DARLENE - Those blocs are going to work magic sweetie.
PAM - I am so sorry to hear about your baby passing to the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs and kisses from Kathleen and the Memphis Mob.
Debbie sent me an e-mail about a TN baby they are trying to help. One of the people had this signature quote, and it prompted me to post on my blog. Here is what I posted. I thought this quote was so appropriate to all of us, and so beautiful also in thought. Darlene, this one is for you. God will get you back on those two feet to help again.
----------------------------------------------------
THOSE EYES
A friend from animal rescue sent me a request for a dog in Tennessee, and this was under the signature of the person helping with the rescue of this baby. I just had to post this for my thought for the day. This is EXACTLY how an animal rescuer feels so many times.
"I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter. . . the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry. "God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly. "I have done something," He replied. "I created You." ~Jim Willis~
I truly believe God created man to be the caretaker of His beautiful world and all its creatures. Yes, with each rescue, God must smile and say, "Well done my child, well done."
Best wishes to you Darlene, to come back better than ever. Yes there are dogs out there to chase down and can't lose one of the best. Will light more candles for Vivi. Where is Vivi I wish there was a shred of news, a tiny scrap of information about her one way or another.
WILL BE IN TOUCH, KIDDIES!!!!!!
Ma, in the meantime, would you terrorize this place for me and make a fool of yourself? would appreciate it.
hey - where the hell is MartheRRRR benn???

Hi Everyone,
DARLENE - Thank you so much for thinking of my little, Wesley. He is doing really well right now. Just have to wait and see when he's off the antibiotics how he does. I, too, will be saying prayers for you and wishing you the speediest recovery. Just remember, think of us with you the whole time in spirit and we will pray you through it. God Bless, Laura
Also, this e-mail was sent to me and thought I would share:
Prayer for Animals
Hear our humble prayer, O God, for our friends the animals,
especially for animals who are suffering;
for animals that are overworked, underfed and cruelly treated;
for all wistful creatures in captivity that beat their wings against bars;
for any that are hunted or lost or deserted or frightened or hungry;
for all that must be put death.
We entreat for them all Thy mercy and pity,
and for those who deal with them we ask a heart of compassion
and gentle hands and kindly words.
Make us, ourselves, to be true friends to animals,
and so to share the blessings of the merciful
Hi Everyone,
It's been quiet on here lately.
DARLENE - I hope everything went well with you. Please post when you can with an update.
Please also say a prayer for my daughter's dog, Luca who was admitted to the hospital tonight with pancreatitis. And for my yorkie, Winnie who was diagnosed with cushing's disease. I guess when it rains it pours.
Laura
Hi Everyone,
I did post earlier but I guess it didn't post here.
DARLENE - I hope you're doing okay - please post when you can with an update.
Also, please pray for my daughter's dog, Luca who was admitted into the hospital tonight with pancreatitis. And for my yorkie, Winnie who is showing signs of Cushings Disease.
If this posts twice, sorry.
Laura
Now after this post the other one shows up, sorry
LAURA - I am so sorry to hear about Winnie and Luca now also. Please contact my friend who owns Camp4Paws (http://www.camp-4-paws.com) and talk to her about the Cushing's Disease. She has a precious German Shepherd who has been fighting this battle, and her dog is doing much better now. I'm sure she would be happy to share what the vet has been doing for her baby and see if this might help. Let her know I sent you to her please.
KATHLEEN - Thank you so much for caring and for the referral. Winnie is doing a lot better today. After her yearly shots she was sleeping and achy for about 3 days and didn't want to bother with anyone. The Vet didn't want to give her all her shots at once because he said in her condition she would get really sick. Now, today she was up and about and barking for her food, as usual. But she does have a lot of hair loss on her back and cataracts in both eyes, which one grew so quick she can't see out of her left eye. I will check out Camp4Paws and thanks for the referral. To see her not being able to see well and when she gets achy it breaks my heart. Also, Kathleen, how is Onnie feeling? I've been thinking about her, too.
Luca will be coming home tomorrow if he can hold down food without vomiting. He is still dehydrated some and on an IV but they say he's doing good.
Take Care,
Laura
LAURA - Thanks for thinking of Onnie. She has been doing great, but started a little of her coughing again tonight. So I just gave her the tetracycline capsule and her cough tablets. Dr. Pearce felt it was kennel cough, but I do not understand this. All my dogs are vaccinated against this and have not been around other dogs, yet Tinkerbell had this several months ago and now Onnie. Do the vaccinations not work?
It took a week for some reason but I see the full text of my posts about Lis and Diva are finally up on the date I wrote them, May 9. The old method of posting had its crazy days but it sure was easier.
Sending Positive Energy for Luca and Winnie and Onnie and Tinkerbell. Be well, little ones.
And for Darlene to have healing and pain free days ahead. We miss you here and want our Queen back with us.
Karen, the video of Lis and Diva is amazing. A true testament of love and devotion - one for the other. How terribly sad Lis' life ended so swifly. The world is a little less for it.
Mila
Hi Everyone,
My daughter and I volunteered at a local adoption event that was at our vet's office. One Chi was adopted by 2 wonderful women and a young family adopted a young little girl that was found wandering the streets of New London, CT. And I found out that the dog Ashley and I were trying to catch was trapped by our local A.C. and has a forever family now.
Jane of Montville wanted all of you to know that the 2 senior greys are doing beautifully in their new home. The male wasn't eating well at first. They were both malnurished when I saw them. But their new mommy solved the problem and now the boy is eating like a teenage boy! She's thanks all of you who offered to help. We also saw Allie who was the pointer that was lost 6 weeks. She had come from the south and her new owner had discharged his gun which spooked her and she ran. He didn't want her after she was lost a week (slimeball) but Jane and a volunteer kept searching and found Allie in a foxhole that Jane went in and got her. My vet fixed her broken leg and other injuries. She recouped in Jane's home and then was adopted by this wonderful family who already had a dog. Yesterday, Allie looked beautiful and is so loved. Everyone was moved by her story and her happy ending. Now if only Vivi, Sargeant and the others will let themselves be seen.
Hooray for all the adoptions, Susan!! What a wonderful weekend!!! God Bless those who love the animals and work so hard to make them safe and loved.
SUSAN - Bless you for helping. Oh a CHI! But I have three dogs and one cat - and this is a FULL HOUSE for me.
Thanks for the prayers for Tinkerbell and Onnie, but please add Sophie Rose to your list also. She either picked up the kennel cough from Onnie or has allergies. Going to the vet tomorrow.
I am losing all faith in that vaccination for kennel cough. All of mine have their shots, and they all have had it now it appears.
I am posting this for Betty since the blog won't let her post! I say God Bless Betty, Michael and all their furkids, too!

Hey Girls, I just saw on Craigslist that an Italian Greyhound was
found as a stray in Queens. I have emailed this man to see if it
is perhaps a whippet. pls do not bombard him with emails, I have been in contact with him, I am waiting to hear back from him
to see if maybe it is a whippet. Pls say a prayer, maybe just
maybe it is our little girl after all this time. I will let you all know
what he says when he responds to my email.
Darlene, Hang in there honey, I had the injections for my back
and they help alot, albeit temporary but it does work
Love to you all
Sue G
Sue G. I had to read your post twice. Wouldn't that be the most wonderful news. Please let us know as soon as you hear anything. IG's can be confused with whippets. There were 2 at the adoption event I was at and I'm not sure if they're IG's or Whippets. Sitting on pins and needles!
I just checked dogdetective for a lost Iggy and there were none posted for that area. I hope this person gets back to you soon, Sue! And if it is an IG or some other little dog breed that his/her family can be found quickly.
And if it is really a whippet? :)))))
The little IG that was found in Queens was not a whippet. The
owner came forward last night. OH how I wished for a miracle
Oh that miracle would have been so wonderful, but we must remember this was a miracle for that owner and his baby too. Thank goodness this person helped rescue it, and get it back to its rightful owners. Bless them.
We all wished for a miracle, Sue. You are keeping your eyes open for Vivi and every breath, every hint of where she may be or that she may have been found needs to be checked out. God bless you!!
And this little doggie got to go home!!

Oh look...Another misunderstood Pitbull...Huh.
From today's the New York Post.
LAWSUIT IS A REAL DOGFIGHT
200G SOUGHT FOR PET-SPA MAIMING
By DAREH GREGORIAN and KAVITA MOKHAT
May 22, 2008 -- A Manhattan man is suing a swanky Upper East Side pet spa for $200,000 after a pit bull nearly turned his schnauzer into Wiener schnitzel.
The dog-almost-eat-dog tale happened last month, when Diesel, a 10-pound pooch, was staying at Biscuits & Bath on 82nd Street and First Avenue.
He was getting ready to go out for a walk when an "approximately 65-pound pit bull, without provocation, attacked" Diesel, biting into his hind leg and "almost removing it from the dog's body," the suit says.
The unidentified pit bull "bit and shook Diesel like a rag doll, digging [his] sharp teeth into Diesel's body, putting enormous pressure on Diesel's bones, dislocating his hip and causing massive bleeding," the suit says.
Now Diesel's owner, lawyer Jeffrey Tullman, is suing the spa - which offers fur treatments, hair exfoliation and weight loss programs for dogs, and refers to animals as "children" and their owners as "parents" - for negligence.
The suit also names the pit bull's owner, John Doe, whose real name the spa is refusing to disclose.
"They were more interested in protecting the name of the owner of the pit bull than in assisting us as owners of the victim," said Tullman, 64.
Manager Jason Christmas said all "parents" sign liability waivers before their "children" can stay at the facility.
The 5-year-old dog, who had stayed at the facility before, was getting ready to be taken out for a walk when an employee was coming back in with the pit bull.
The big dog broke free from his handler and went after Diesel "without provocation," and had "enough time to bite, maul, attack, claw and throw around Diesel" before the attack was stopped, the suit says.
Diesel spent two weeks in the animal hospital and had to have his hip replaced.
"The good news is he's doing pretty damn good for a dog that nearly had his hind leg ripped off," Tullman said.
Christmas said he'd previously reached out to Tullman and his wife, and did not charge them for a month's worth of services - about $2,000 - because of the incident. As for the pit bull, Christmas said only that "the dog that mauled Diesel is no longer a member of the facility."
