Stolen Pomeranian in New Jersey

From today's email.

For details on Dallas' disappearance, click here.

< REWARD!
I just received a phone call from a heartbroken owner. His new puppy, a 7 mo old male Pomeranian, was stolen from his home in Morristown NJ (north Jersey) on Monday November 19th. Color: Red sable (Reddish orange with black hairs and trim) Weight, 3.5 lbs. The thieves took portable electronics, then as maybe an afterthought, took the carrier and the puppy, leaving the adult half brother. He just wants the puppy safe and home.

He is posting it on petfinder.com and it was on the front page of the local news, so AP is picking up the story.
Any good ideas, email
Amando Hernandez or call 973-290-0171. He can email a flyer.>>

Anyone know of a lost fawn Whippet? Last night a fawn Whippet ran in a wide arc from across the street from us gracefully arcing as it crossed and then ran up an alley on Horthorn (Hawthorn?) the second block east of Rockaway Ave. It took less than 10 seconds and I doubt the two people she passed even noticed her. She moved swiftly and ghost like. I myself may not have seen her/him as it was so fleeting much like when Vivi raced across from me. But we were walking Sheba and I had my radar eyes on as you better see it first with a 130 pound Rottie. Sheba has greatly improved and although she was straining momentarily we did continue our walk with out incident. Bad part was I was unable to follow or try to coax this whippet to us. As with Vivi she was no where to be found when I searched after I finished with Sheba,

B-J

B-J, I can only imagine what you must have felt when you saw that whippet! I still pray you cross paths with Vivi again soon and she is drawn to your kindness! I hope someone comes forward regarding this other poor whippet.
Viva La Vivi!
Rosa

B-J: It must have been a deja-vu feeling seeing this second whippet running by you like the wind. I hope this poor soul isn't out running loose too long. Still holding out for a miracle for Vivi!!

Finally, I found the new blog..It took some doing to find it and I hope I'm in and not in never, never land...

We do have a fawn Whippet about a mile down the road by the hospital. I am going to call Allan tomorrow to ask if he heard anything about him or any lost Whippet.

Yes it was like deja-vu Pam. You can't mistake the whippet run. They are so awesome it takes my breath away to begin with. btw she/he may have been blue as this was 12:30 am and no moon. Anyone know if brindle would show on a light dog when it's dark?
B-J

B-J Just checked K9 Amber Alert. They are not reporting any Whippets lost or found in your area. Maybe on another list???

I think you would see the brindle unless it went by so fast you only registered in your mind a flash of the main color. Maybe if it is our friend Vivi she is dirty!!

Here's a link to 24 malamutes seized in SD. There is video too. Some of the dogs are so emaciated. Looks like they were abandoned or not fed, police discovered them when serving warrant on a domestic abuse charge not related to the dogs. Look on right side of page where you can play video and read story/

http://www.rapidcityjournal.com/

Jackie looked at her dogs tomight and said you really can not make out the brindles in the dark. As far as it being Vivi white even dirty looks white in the dark. She would have had to be pretty muddy for that. Couldn't reach Allen but will try tomorrow. He cuts the nails of the whippet the I am thinking of.

I have two brindle Whippers...The female is a little easier to see at night, but the male gets totally lost in the dark. I even have trouble finding them in the house at times..Its like they wear little
camoulflage suits..They can be sitting right on the bed and sometimes I don't see them..Lilly has more white on her so she's seen a little easier, but when the run, they are like a flash of dog and hard to make out what they are.

We neeed candles to be lit people...Keep Vivi in our thoughts and prayers...

The Chi's were picked up by a state trooper that night and brought to the Islip town Shelter. They were puppies. Nancy and I went to search this morning and then went to the tropper L station and they had a report. We almost got arrested for trespassing on Federal Property by going to the lake on the Federal Court House property. He was pointing at my dog Maureen and saying no dogs allowed as if that were worse. Have to run to work soon. Maybe Nancy will elaborate. Just wanted you all to know the Chi's are safe. The shelter is closed today so we will ask Joeanne to check out if they have been adopted yet.

B-J

Thank you B-J for the wonderful news about the Chi's. I hope they get the creep who dumped them. Puppies! This makes my skin crawl about what kind of lowlife this is. May the 2 babies go to a loving, forever home.

Still am praying for safe return of Vivi!
And the lost furry animals out there with the winter coming.
and I want to try out this new website here, hope it gets through!
God bless you and all the furry kids! :-)

This new blog is hard to keep up with. You have to remember how many comments are on each post to know if there is a new one there are not.

Hi everyone, I just saw on Craigslist that someone saw a med
size white dog with a few black spots ( or so he thought) running
around by Pilgrem State Hospital in Brentwood. He tried to catch the dog but she ran into the woods. Sure sounds like a Vivi
move, anyone around that area that could check out this
sighting. If only it her her, ahhhh

Sue,

Where is Brentwood?

Hey everyone, seen the post from BJ and I wish that was Vivi . I hope you are all doing well and getting ready for the Holidays. Many of you know I don't have a computer but I wanted to say that I'm having a baby. The due date is May 16th and I find out what I'm having on Dec 13th. Morning sickness kicked my butt for a long time, now I feel better ... no cravings yet and I hear that if I have no cravings the baby will be like me... SCARY . Just wanted to say hello and I'm keeping the faith ... miss you guys. Roooby can you tell Martha to call me, haven't talked to her and can't remember her # . Tale care everyone, will check back later, Chrissy...

Congratulations Chrissy! Wishing all the best for you.

Awwww Chrissy!! A little baby for you!! Congratulations and best wishes and much happiness !! Let us know boy or girl!!

Hoping we hear of another sighting soon.

That is wonderful news Chrissy!! God bless you and your precious little one. Keep us up to date ok? We love you, Betty

Daddy God, we ask you to bring Vivi safely home. We know she is in your care and she is still out there just waiting for your chosen ones to rescue her. Keep her shelter warm and help her to rest well when she lays down to sleep at night. Daddy God keep her in your tender care and let your light shine on her. She has to come home soon. She is such a blessing to all of us and we love her dearly. She is your precious creation of love and all that is good. We bless her food and water that you provide for her. Keep all harm far away from her Daddy God and bless us with her return. That is all we want for Christmas Daddy. Bring little Vivi home safe. In Jesus's name we thank you!

Betty,

You are so right. ViVi is all we want for Christmas.

Thanks for the warm wishes . I'll let you know what I'm having when I know. I'm excited and nervous, the pampering could be better ... I'm so moody that I don't allow people to pamper me... but it's getting better now. Keeping the faith... and hoping for another sighting soon.

Any news on the availabilty of the toll booth tapes for the day and time that D had spotted the Vivi-like dog? I know we are all extremely anxious to know if the dog was Vivi or not.

Mila, totally agree with your post concerning NO info on results of being able to view the tape for the morning of September 25th, when "D" had the sighting of a dog that could be our Vivi.

What could POSSIBLY take so long if follow-up calls are made to the bridge personnel? It is heartbreaking to think that this opportunity might pass, like many others, because I feel that if more time goes by, the toll takers will say they can't go back that far and look at tapes months old. They only need to look at about an hour of tape....what's the big deal here????

This sighting was on the morning of September 25th....more than 2 months ago. PLEASE, we are asking Honi, and whoever else has access to these people, to speak to these people and get a conclusion here.

Please pray for Vivi's safety and recovery.

Snow is forecast for our area this coming weekend and it totally destroys me to think this poor little dog could still be out there fending for herself and trying to survive. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, ACT NOW AND MAKE THE NECESSARY CALLS!

Were these tapes able to be viewed or not? It would be nice to know so we could move on if Vivi wasn't spotted on the tapes.

Mila, totally agree with your post concerning availability of info concerning September 25th sighting of a dog resembling Vivi at the Atlantic Bridge toll booths. Two months have passed and I fear that if too much more time elapses, the bridge personnel will say they can't go back to tapes that far back.

PLEASE, whoever has contacted these people, keep the pressure on to get a response. They would really only need to look at about an hour of tape from the morning of September 25th. IF there is a chance this is our Vivi, we so need to know this.

Snowy mix is expected in this area this weekend and it is heart breaking to think this little dog can still be out there fending for herself. Please pray for her safety and rescue soon.

Sorry, didn't mean to post twice on same subject. My first post disappeared and so I posted a second time. Once is enough, I know....just upset with so many things and trying to do my job at the same time.

My message is that we SO need to know IF this is Vivi...I am heart broken that we can't help this little dog....please, please, keep the pressure up to see these tapes. Best shot we've had in 2 years to know if she is still out there.

Thanks for listening....

Irene, we are all listening and hoping that this tape is seen. Vivi is why we all came together and without her being found, the void will never stop for anyone, expecially her family. She has become our Vivi and my heart aches also for her still being out there. Dogs are being found years after going missing, many due to other eyes and ears out there as well as the micro chips. Betty, Michael, you said it so true when you wrote that Vivi being found is the only present we want. It's enough for me.
