<<We were fortunate to have some good media press out about Vivi still missing
this week keeping people aware that Vidi is still missing, however, the new
areas she has moved to need some personal attention with posters and flyers.
Seems as though there are some spots within the park that need coverage, the
immediate area around the park has been taken care of but we also need to widen
our circle. As the experts say, lost dogs usually travel in a circle continuing
to widen the circle as they go.
We need help! As much help as possible. The weather for this weekend looks
bright and sunny. Lots of folks will be out and about and the more people that
see the flyers or that we can give a post-card to and speak to personally, the
better our chances of sightings and bringing Vidi home.
Please see if you could possibly take some time out to help spread the word.
The Vidi base will be set up from 10am till 12pm at the Forest Park Bandshell on
Forest Park Drive just off of Woodhaven Blvd. If you are unable to meet up with
us during that time for supplies, please call my cell 917-626-1374 and I'll make
sure to get some supplies to you.
Thanks for all of your help. Hope to see you tomorrow.
Keep the faith!

Everyone is posting on a thread from June 23rd. It has gotten so big that I am having trouble getting on it. You might consider moving up to one with fewer posts...
Karen, I'm on this page with you!
ARE WE HERE, YET?
I just checked in. Saturdays are quiet days here anyway. Yeah, the way we used to do it moving up with each thread kept it more manageable. But LOL I probably do enough organizing for Vivi I better just leave the blog alone before I lose my mind!
I think at one point somebody was actually going for 1,000 posts on one of the links.
Well, that's a goal.
Howdy Karen!
I'm with you! It takes me a long time to post also, so this is a good place to be.
Heres hoping they find our girl today! She seems to be seen at odd hours, little sneak.
I sent money today to Little Shelter Animal Rescue and got a really nice thank you back: "A homeless animal at Little Shelter has been sponsored In Honor of:
VIVI WHIPPET"
I also sent money to The 10th Life Sanctuary to help with some of Chipper, the little kitten who was caught in the wood chipper. Poor baby, I hope he makes it!
Im going to melllllt. Oh wait didn't some witch say that first?
Foot Soldiers, God Bless you----looking for that wiley whippet in all kinds of weather.
Vivi, honey find a nice volunteer and they will call your family for you!!!
Hi Sharon and Karen -
Any news on that little gypsy Vivi today. Hope the Weenie Queen and Debbie attract her to them!
Just got an e-mail from Gina. I had not heard since she got back so sent another e-mail to her. She says that Madison is doing some "strange things that she was not doing before" but did not elaborate. Said she would post tonight for sure on the website. She is not sure if this is a negative sign or a sign that something is going on in there new. I'm praying for the latter option. She did say that Madison's Dad said she smiled a lot last week. So that sounds promising. Keep praying, I'm sure the prayers are being answered. I'll let everyone know when she posts a new update this weekend hopefully.
Hey Kathleen the weenie Queen and I did our best last night to attract that little runner. we have left our mark of weenies and then some to attract her, we made sure we stayed out very late in case we spotted her roaming. This area is tremendous, miles of cemetaries all connected, and parks, what a haven for her to run and play. I am asking a special favor for Gail in CT one our rocks who has been with us for the duration and has been helping us behind the scenes, her little Kelly who is a senior, has gone into the hospital adn will be staying till Monday, she has a pretty bad UTI and needs to be hydrated, so keep the prayers for her and Kelly to make a speedy recovery. Hoping to get back out tomorrow to attack some poles with flyers.
Lois T, we were so hoping you could have been with us last night, you would have literally peed your pants, I hear you are a not to far neighbor of mine, next time we go you are coming. Ask Darlene about being incognito, and where the mosquitos bite. The white coats would have taken us last night for sure if they saw us. I am peeing thinking of her incognito right now.
Hey Debbie - Prayers are definitely out there for Kelly and Gail in CT. This is getting scary with so many of our animals being sick.
I have a fantastic idea. Lois told me tonight she is 5'4" tall. Now I believe you could fit our little Lois in a kiddie bathing suit and sit her in that wading pool to attract Vivi. Of course, put LOTS of mosquito repellant on our favorite gal if you do. I bet Lois T will just "love" my idea (heee).
I also found out something else tonight. I am not totally crazy after all. Lois T sings to Betty Boop like I sing to Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell just loves to be sang too. She will just sit there and look into your face so sweet when you sing to her. Pretty sad, huh! Singing to your dog after the children have grown up and got married!!!!!
Well better go before Lois T "kills me" for nominating her as the Wading Pool Queen. She does everything else for Vivi, I'm sure she will agree to this also.
Hugs and goodnight from Kathleen and Tinkerbell
(And BTW - where is that fashion designing Weenie Queen tonight? You didn't kill her, did you?)
Hey Debbie!
I don't think I want to know where the mosquitos bite!;) Actually, I think I already have an idea! And I find it hard to believe that Darlene could ever be incognito! And Darlene, I mean that with only love in my heart dear!
Lois T
I'll get you Kathleen, and your little dog too!!!LOL
Lois T
Oh my, I'm in "BIG" trouble now. BUSTED by the new Wading Pool Queen.
I think I have a good idea where those mosquitos bit also, might have something to do with all the beer Darlene drank as well.
You could definitely get me Lois, move too slow as an "old fat woman." But never would get the Tinkerbell - I'm willing to put her up against even Vivi. That gal can run!

In the name of the King of life;
in the name of the Christ of love;
in the name of the Holy Spirit:
the Triune of my strength.
I love you, O Lord my strength.
The Lord is my rock,
my fortress and my deliverer.
My God is my rock
in whom I take refuge.
I will praise the Lord who counsels me;
even at night my heart instructs me.
I have set the Lord always before me.
Because He is at my right hand,
I shall not be shaken.
I am placing my soul and my body
under Thy guarding this night, O Christ.
May Thy cross this night be shielding me.
Lord of All Creation be with us this night, and protect our little ones Vivi, Biggie, and Sniffles.
We ask for the swift return of Vivi during this spell of beautiful weather. Please send her to the volunteer you have chosen to take her home. Hold our animal companions in your warm and gentle embrace and let them sleep peacefully in Your watchful gaze. Please let Kelly respond well to her hospital stay, and take care of her serious UTI so she can return to her Mama Gail. Heal McGee's painful IBD, and "chubby him up" so new treatments can be tried. Let Chipper and Gunner know the power of human and Divine Love. Caress all of us with Your healing touch, and help us become the men and women You created us to be! Thank you for the healing that is taking place in Baby Girl, Madison, JL, Pamela, and Lance. Let Dr. Schiff answer Kathleen, and work with Madison. Thank you for Your awesome and continuous healing taking place in Your animals- CJ, Dante, Felice, Max, Murphy, and Mylie. Be with all who mourn tonight. Support young people of faith in expressing their love of Your creation. Greet all, human and animal alike, who will make the journey to Paradise this night. Reward our faithful animal companions who have gone ahead. Let all who are homeless know Your love, and ours, too. Send your angels and saints to work with Vivi's angels. Bless Bobbi, and all rescue workers. They, and the NYC volunteers serve as Your compassionate presence on earth. Let our faith grow as a result of this experience! Restore as we sleep, Heavenly Father, as we turn over the night watch to you! YOU ARE IN CHARGE! AMEN!

Hey Sharon - Caught us acting silly again!
How is McGee doing?
Wading Pool Queen, huh? Only if I could wear a flotation device made of weenies!!!! Maybe with a cupholder too so I have a place to put my beer!!
Lois T
That's it Kathleen! Slap you silly, girl!!!
Lois T
Now if that did not attract Vivi, I cannot imagine what would. Of course, you might not be floating too long if Vivi was hungry!
Well this is fun, but my bed calls me. OHHHHH, I think I see a pillow or two open. Better jump quick!
Love ya Debbie, Weenie Queen and our new Wading Pool Queen
I think even with the weenies, the sight of me in a kiddie bathing suit would scare the crap out of her! Sure scares me!
Lois T
No it would not Lois, because she would see that beautiful and caring person inside! Just you always remember that girl - or I will have to "slap you silly."
Here is the update on Madison I promised from Gina. She just posted it. I don't know what to make of these changes in Madison, but my heart fears they may not be good. Just going to try and look at that glass as "half full" and not "half empty" like Gina says. Please keep praying hard for Madison though.
-----------------------
July 8th
I am home!!! Thank you for all the friendly reminders for an update. It's nice to know that no one has forgotten and people are still praying for my sweet little girl.
It was very nice to get away, although I missed my kids and my husband something awful. I cried a few times while I was gone. It was hard to be at the zoo or sea world and see little girls that resemble Madison or that are around her age. It's hard not to question how this is fair that those moms have their little girls having fun with them while mine doesn't even make eye contact. I never really thought of myself as a "half empty glass" kind of girl, but sometimes I worry that I am becoming one as time goes on. While I was away, I called home everyday (several times usually) and was so happy to hear John's description of Madison. He would deligently report her condition to me without getting annoyed with all my questions. He told me about her smiling a lot during that week. He said "almost everyone has seen her smile now." I was also thrilled to hear that Madison reacted to my voice and turned towards the phone when John put the phone to her ear. I guess even though I know it's a slow process, I hoped I would come home and see this revised little girl. But, I didn't. I don't know if what I am seeing is negative, but it's scary nonetheless. The day I got home, Madison seemed more relaxed than she had been before I left. Her face looked a little different to me. This all made me happy. But, the longer I was home, the more little new things I saw that made me a little more uneasy. She has been doing this thing where she turns her head and sticks out her tongue and her limbs fly out and she'd get a little stuck in that position. Well, now it has changed to a pulsating of that position (for lack of a better word.) She does it over and over sticking her tongue in and out and flying her limbs over and over very rhythmically. I don't know if it's a seizure or something more benign. She also has been having episodes where she shakes like she is freezing. I put a blanket on her and that takes care of it, but then she gets hot. She had been doing better with the temperature control, but that seems to be heading the other direction now. Honestly, when I first got home, I thought "oh yay her brain is working to make new connections and that's why all this twitching and shaking is happening" but then I have moments where I have the "half empty" moments. It's very difficult to always be positive even when I'm wearing a pink bracelet to remind me. I do think that overall something is happening even if she is out of it today from having an EEG yesterday. (results on Tuesday!)
A very good friend of mine told me that there are signs for me all over the place and that I am just not opening my eyes to see them. From the very beginning, everything has lined up from just happening to have the two top EMTs for Driscoll Children's Hospital to having the pope pray for Madison because a friend just happened to be in the Vatican City with a Cardinal. Did you know that the pope was also a near drowning victim? Anyway, from the beginning there have been signs everywhere and messages and I got another one in San Diego. The Shamu show at Sea World is called "Believe." Sitting in this big arena, you look forward to see four big screens behind the water. They rotate and have images that go along with the music during the show. The show Believe starts off with video of a little boy looking at a whale book with amazement and carving a whale tale out of wood to wear as a pendant. He said he wanted to grow up to be a trainer. It was his dream. The story continued and eventually that little boy with the big dream was shown to be the current trainer swimming with Shamu. Very emotional as it was, but at the end of the show the dramatic music is playing in the background with a narration above it. The very last words spoken.....Anything is Possible...if you just BELIEVE. I burst into tears. Another message. What's it going to take me to keep positive all the time....a 2x4 over the head?? God is Good! There are NO coincidences!
I will update again on Tuesday with results of the EEG. Of course, if something big happens before then, I will be back sooner. Thank you again for all the support. I am very blessed! Love, Gina
Kathleen, would it help if all of us sent an email to Dr. Schiff? Let us know..
Kathleen I am only 5 1 and I have a plastic kiddie pool for my dog, we could throw it in Darlenes truck and plant it in the woods and sit in it filled with beer, may be good for the skin. We pulled over next to a cemetary to look at the map and i saw a huge mosoleum with the name Aaron Buschbaum on it, took a picture for good old A Busch. ( anheiser busch) how wierd is that, we stopped right next to it, coincidence or what. I just bought mosquito repellant tonight in case I get attacked again.
Lois yes my dear we were in cognito so vivi did not recognize us, what jerks we looked like, I peed my pants, yes mosquitos can bite all over, Especially after alot of beer, we were fortunate and did not get bit, they were flying in the truck attacking us, must have been the weenies, and i don;t mean us. LOL have a good night everyone.
Debbie - I hereby pass my crown to you as the new Wading Pool Queen! Hail, Hail!
Lois T
Betty - That is a sweet idea, but it might make him mad and not willing to help if we all e-mail him. I'm going to start calling next week though (and faxing). I have not received a confirmation that my e-mail was read, so I am wondering if he is out of town or out of the country right now. Could be. These research people travel a lot.
I'll let you know if I change my mind though. It is sweet of you to offer. Just keep praying - God will whip this good doctor into shape for us!
I am very concerned about these latest developments with Madison. I researched and found these can be a side effect of the meds she is on for the seizures that she does have from dystonia from the accident. I sent the info to Gina and she is going to contact the doctor with the information.
Isaiah 41:10

Your love is so pure and unending. Help us to comprehend your love and power toward us. Let this be the day Daddy God. Let this be the day. In Jesus's Name we pray...Amen
He wants to guide us with His eye. That means we have to be close enough to Him to see His face.

Daddy God, Please help little McGee to eat without any upset. Soothe McGee's stomach and intestines so that they relax and heal. Help McGee to gain weight Daddy God. We are depending on you and you alone. Help our faith to soar to the heavens as we draw ever closer to you...In Jesus's Name we pray...Amen
Thanks Betty-- I'd love to see him chubby again.
Yes, Daddy God, please help all of these and please give McGee some of these extra pounds I could certainly stand to lose. What a blessing it would be for both of us. McGee sure needs them, and I do not.
Betty and Sharon, what beautiful prayers for our little Princess Madison. I copied the one this morning and sent to Gina as I could tell she is very concerned about Madison and felt it would really lift her up. What a perfect Bible verse also. Sure helped lift me up. Thank you both so much again for your continuing prayers and everyone's love for this precious little girl.
Gunner update - The picture in the paper was in color and large - here is the site for you guys.

Thank you Cherita for the follow-up story on Gunner. What a beauty he is. Gunner and his owner are truly amazing. How lucky they both are to have each other.
Kathleen: Glad to see you back and posting.
My vacation was nice, long overdue. I went to Sunset Beach with my whippets and chi. It was amazing how many people asked me about Vivi. One person was aware of sightings of her. I was happy to hear, that many miles away, people were aware of her. Even in Wildwood, while we walked our dogs daily, someone would approach me and talk about her. I was hoping to come back and see good news. My Dad called me, and told me that Vivi was on FoxNews. Good to hear the media is still involved.
Praying for a homecoming soon!
Thank you for the story on Gunner. Thank heavens she had him micro-chipped. Hi everyone!! (waving)

Show them to the volunteer of Your choice so that they may return to their earthly families. Surprise us by sending Vivi home before Rosa's and Gail's vacations. Let Kelly and McGee respond well to their vets’ prescribed treatments. Enfold all of us in Your healing embrace. Thank you for the healing that is taking place in Baby Girl, Madison, JL, Pamela, and Lance. We thank you in advance for moving Dr. Schiff accept Kathleen's invitation to help Madison. Sharon - Thank you in particular for this verse and prayer tonight. This verse is one of my very favorite in the Bible. When I would tuck my two sons in at night, and they were small and scared of the dark, I would remind them of this verse. I always expressed to them how God was watching over them and would "neither slumber nor sleep." One night my precious Nicholas looked up and said, "Mommy, God must be awful sleepy if He never sleeps." I told him that God and probably others in Heaven did not need sleep. He promptly let me know that he would definitely want to sleep - even in Heaven. The boy always loved to sleep. I told him I was sure that would be okay with God and not to worry. Such precious memories of my two sons - thank you Sharon so much for helping me remember these.
Prayers needed for Barbaro
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers.
Good morning Daddy God. We thank you for your protection and we thank you for watching over us while we slept in your arms. Oh Daddy God, creator of all living things, creator of the universe and giver of life, we bring our prayers to your throne. We are your children Daddy God and we come to you like Moses did in the wilderness. When others were afraid and ran away from you Daddy God, Moses ran TO you. This is how we come to you this morning. We are running to you. We are seeking your face and your Glory. We need you so Daddy God. Daddy God, we bring Barbaro to your throne of eternal Grace. We lift up Barbaro to you and we ask that your Power, your Mercy, and your deliverance floods little Barbaro. Let your Glory flow Daddy God. We have seen and experienced your deliverance in so many ways. You have brought deliverance to Duke, Chippers, Gunner, Ariel and many others. But we want more Daddy God. We hunger and thirst for you. We want more. We will not be satisfied until we walk in your Glory and in your presence as in the days of old. Just as Moses spoke to you in the mountain, so we want to speak with you and bask in the Glory of your presence. Help us to comprehend the deep and ever present love that you have for us. As the athlete stretches his limbs and works his body to the breaking point for victory, so we stretch our faith and reach to you till it hurts Daddy God. We will reach our faith to you, becoming stronger with each passing day. As a child clings to his father's knees when he is frightened, we cling to you, our Daddy in faith, stretching our hands and our hearts to you for deliverance. It is not what you can do for us that draws us to you. It is who you are that draws us. You are Yaweh Shammah-the Lord who is present. You are Yaweh Shalom-the Lord of our peace. You are Yaweh Ra-ah - The Lord our Shepherd. You are Yaweh Jireh-the Lord our provider. You are Yaweh Nissi-the Lord our victory. You are Yaweh Tsidkenu-the lord our Righteousness. You are Yaweh Rapha-the Lord our Healer. And you are the lover of our souls. Oh Daddy God we bring all that we are to you and we bring our families and loved ones to you. We thank you for your healing Grace in Barbaro, McGee, Mylie, Dante, Murphy, Max, Felice, CJ, Kelly, Gunner, and Chippers. We thank you for your Healing Grace in Pam, Madison, Baby Girl, Pam, Lance and JL. Our prayers flow to your throne Daddy God. We will not be satisfied until we are so flooded with your presence that we can no longer see ourselves, but only your lovely face. We thank you Daddy God for protecting and nurturing Vivi, Biggie and Sniffles and for keeping them safely in your embrace. Bring them home to their families Daddy. Embrace your army of rescuers as they go about the loving work you have set before them. Bless them Daddy God and bring them great victory. Flood our lives Daddy God as we walk through this day with you. Let your Glory flow, flooding this earth with yourself. Bring all who will come, to the place of your Mercy and Salvation. Help us to show your love and compassion, your mercy and your grace, your kindness and your deliverance to all we come into contact with today Daddy. We love you so. Help our faith to soar...In Jesus's Name we pray...Amen

'Potentially serious'
Barbaro develops complications, undergoes surgery
Posted: Sunday July 9, 2006 8:04PM; Updated: Sunday July 9, 2006 9:35PM -CNN
KENNETT SQUARE, Pa. (AP) -- Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro has developed "potentially serious" complications to his injured right hind leg, and underwent surgery to treat a new infection.
Late Saturday, the 3-year-old colt, who shattered his leg at the start of the Preakness on May 20, had a titanium plate and a number of screws replaced after developing discomfort in the leg and a "consistently" high temperature.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Dean Richardson at the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center, where Barbaro has been recovering in the intensive care unit.
In a statement released Sunday, Richardson emphasized that the complications are "potentially serious."
"Barbaro had developed some discomfort and a consistently elevated temperature so we believed it was in his best interest to remove the hardware and thoroughly clean the site of the infection," Richardson said. "We also applied a longer cast on that leg for additional support."
It is the third procedure in less than a week for Barbaro. He had the cast on his injured leg replaced and some new screws inserted Monday, and on Wednesday another new cast was applied. Also, Barbaro is being treated for a small infection on the sole of his uninjured left hind hoof, according to the hospital.
Richardson said Barbaro's main fracture is healing well, but the pastern joint -- a joint above the hoof -- continues to be a concern. The joint was stabilized with "new implants and a fresh bone graft."
Barbaro took longer to recover from the anesthesia from this latest procedure, Richardson said. But he said the colt was back in his stall and receiving pain medication, antibiotics and "other supportive care."
Barbaro's owners and trainer continue to visit twice daily, the statement said.
Just wanted to let you know that I got a note from Nancy and Mylie's paralysis is showing a whiskers worth of improvement.
Thanks to so many of you for inquiries on McGee--despite high doses of pred there is still some vomitting. Pray that he likes the new duck based food I will try with him later today.

My dear ladies, I just read about a building that exploded in Manhatten. Are any of you from there? Are you ok? Will this affect Vivi? I don't know NY. Please respond!!! I love you
Daddy God, Please help the people living in Manhattan. We need you Daddy. Let your Glory flow and let your Mercy reign. Please protect New York Daddy God. Bring great and mighty miracles in this situation and may your Holy Spirit intervene in this tradgedy, bringing life, and healing as you flood this situation. Help us Daddy God. I place all of these people and your creatures under the healing and restoration of Jesus's blood. And Daddy God, we ask you to remove this infection from Barbaro. He is fighting with all His strength to live the precious life that you alone have given Him. Heal his bones and bring restoration and strength to Him as he recovers from these surgeries. We also bring Rags to you Daddy God. Your word says that you do not give a spirit of fear, but of love and power and a sound mind. Give your Spirit to Vivi, Biggie, Sniffles and Rags Daddy and bring them home to their families whose hearts are broken without them. Raise up McGee in your power and love. Heal this babies stomach and intestines so he can enjoy the life you alone created for him. Deliver us Daddy. Let your Glory flow Daddy. Let your power and your Glory flow. In Jesus's Name we pray...Amen
And we thank and praise you Daddy God for the improvement in Mylie. We do not take small improvements lightly. We take that whisper of improvement and we ask you to please let it spread like wildfire through his body. Thank you Daddy God. In Jesus's Name we pray...Amen
Thanks for the kind prayers.
I don't know Queens well, but Manhattan is not Queens.
Creator God, We join together in Your name and lift up all those effected by the building explosion in Manhattan. Help the injured, and the frightened. Raise up to yourself those who are dying and have died. Help and protect those emergency workers who are trying to contain the gas leak that caused the explosion, and the firefighters trying to contain any fire. We ask this in Your name, and in the compassionated name of Jesus.
NYC Building Collapses,Burns
An explosion and fire leveled a residential building on New York's Upper East Side today. Eleven people were injured. Fire Chief Nicholas Scoppetta said someone in the building sent an e-mail to a person in the neighborhood that "leads us to believe this may have been a suicide attempt." Scoppetta said four pedestrians walking past the building when it exploded were hurt. Six firefighters sustained minor injuries.
(CNN developing story)
The explosion took place on E. 62nd Street, between Madison Avenue, and Park Avenue. Is this Manhattan?
Just Answered my own question the building is on the Upper East side.
The guy blew the bulding so his wife cound not get half of it, it was his own private townhouse.
and he's supposedly in the hospital with 70 % of his body burned.
real smart - blow up the building AND yourself to keep your ex wife from getting half.....makes a lot of sense to me!
oh - and not to mention anyone else that is in or around the building.
I just add to add another note. The news said he then called on his phone for help from the rescuers. So they were also put in danger trying to rescue this guy!
That's horrible, understanding how a person can think in such a way is beyond me.
I can't even imgaine how people walking by must of felt, so much fear because who the heck knows it could of been a 7/10/06 attack! anyhow, have a nice life in jail you freak. Praying for the families and anyone included in this Chaos. And as usual
Keepin'the faith ...
What an idiot he was, I hear the townhouse he owned was worth 10 million, was it worth it?
instead of having half of 10 million he now has rubble and probably a lot of lawsuits for those that were injured - plus the city should charge him for the cleanup and rescue efforts.
can any one tell me how this weekend went in the search for our illusive little needlenose? I'm sure there are lots of weenie remnants and beer cans :)
Has anyone spoke with Lois T today? She e-mails me pretty much every day and no word today. Makes me nervous with that building situation. Does anyone know if she works anywhere close to there? Thanks.
I'm here Kathleen! I'm sorry you were worrying about me - just had a really busy day at work. Mondays are like that. Actually, I work in Oyster Bay which is in Nassau County right on the water on the north shore. I also got sick from eating a stupid piece of black forest cake which I HATE but ate anyway. Came home and didn't feel like cooking anything special, so gave hubby WEENIES for dinner!!! I was laughing my butt off the whole time he was eating them. I think he thinks I poisoned them or something!;)

Here's another reason we can't give up: a greyhound, Nemmie, who was lost in Worchester, MA on June 21st, was found and safely recovered today. The reason she was found was that flyers were posted and two young boys recognized her and called. Volunteers were able to catch her. There's always hope! That's why the work that you are doing is so important. Another reason not to give up -- in Nemmie's case, there was a report by a person that he was sure he had hit her and killed her with his car -- he even went back to the place to verify that the dog was dead. But, as it turns out, the dog was NOT Nemmie. And the reason she is going home tonight is that the volunteers never gave up. Thanks to ALL of you!
Kathy
Yes my dear there were weenies galore this weekend. There are no remnants of beer cans, all were cleaned up, we even placed food very nicely on paper plates around with water, in case she decided to take a stroll she would find some food. I'd like to think she found some of the stuff we left for her. Dsrlene still has a supply of weenies and Barbara Jean has tons of weenies if she hasn't decided to eat them, just kidding BJ lol to you. We will ride again this week my friend. If I could only find my stapler.
Debbie - I bet that Weenie Queen has your stapler. You know how she was talking about using the stapler in her "doggie disaster fashion design."
Lois T - So glad you are okay, got your e-mail too. I have to agree, I don't care for Black Forest cake either.
If only Rich knew the inside story about the weenies (hee, hee). That a girl, you are learning my dear. I am a very bad influence on you. Next thing you know, Rich will be cooking dinner some (hee, hee).
Kathleen - It'll be a cold day in hell before he cooks dinner. That's ok. I like my food edible!! I'd probably get sicker from his cooking than I got from eating that stupid cake!

Kathleen, the weenie queen has the same one as me,if she stole it I would have to staple her to a tree tape her mouth and run like hell I seemed to have lost mine in the trunk of my car, or under the seat, my trunk is loaded with bags of flyers and supplies, rolls of tape are everywhere, it never seems to get cleaned, staples are out of the boxes loose in the carry bag for when we walk it. Rolls of tape opened but can't seem to find the beginning of it so grab a new one and forget the other one. I guess Ill have to take another one from work, this makes 2 already. nothing beats the old swingline.
Debbie - I can see it now. Vivi foot soldier arrested for taking 2 staplers from work! At least we could get some more good publicity for Vivi while you were sitting in the clinker! I bet they serve weenies too.
I want to see the stapler that keeps the Weenie Queen to that tree and the tape that tapes her mouth shut. That will be the day. Just kidding Darlene. LOL
Know about that trunk thing. I have a new printer I purchased about 2 weeks ago still in the trunk of my car. Maybe some day it will make it to my desk and hooked to the computer. Must be fun hearing all that tape rolling around back there in your trunk, at least my printer doesn't move around much (hee, hee)!
Have a good night everyone, time to say goodnight! Keeping the faith, Vivi will come home and McGee is going to inherit some of these pounds from this gray-headed old woman in Memphis, TN. Sharon, McGee is in my prayers. I am looking forward to losing some of these pounds for McGee! How did his new duck diet go?
The Hill's shipment didn't make it to the vet before closing. So I will get it in the morning.
It comes in a soft food too, so if he likes it he will think the soft is a treat. We'll see. He has been eating today-- but it's the c/d which is quite fatty, and he may be allergic to the chicken.
Sure hope he likes the new soft treat Sharon. We need to fatten this sweet little fella up and get him some tests to get him well. Praying hard for you and McGee (and, of course, all of the others).
Has anyone heard anything about Kelly today?
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
2 will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
