From Vivi's breeder, Bo Bengtson:
<<UPDATE AS OF MONDAY NIGHT, APRIL 17, 2006
No news of major importance. Thanks for several dozen emails with suggestions for where to find large size traps, what type of trap might be preferable, etc. The practical problems are considerable – not just cost, transportation, set-up, baiting and the necessity of regularly checking the trap, but also the fact that traps cannot be set on public property (too risky for children to get caught or hurt). This means we need to find a local resident who is willing to keep a large trap in their yard, possibly for a long time, with the attendant risk of catching not Vivi but other dogs, cats, raccoons, etc.
We also need to make sure that the large traps we find can be triggered by a 30 lb Whippet, and we finally need to use suitable bait. Judging by all reports the commercially available lure bait smells too bad to be used in a residential area, although it is apparently so attractive to dogs that we might end up catching any number of other stray dogs.
There is finally the problem of Vivi ranging over such a large area that she may not even find the trap, even if she should be interested in the bait.
No easy decisions. Jil as owner and Honi as the person in charge of search efforts in New York will make the final decision.
Next update, barring major developments, will be posted on Friday night.
Thanks,
Bo >>

Yes, there are problems to solve but they can be solved.
Wonder what the major developments are going to be on Friday.
Marty, I believe Bo is saying that his next post will be Friday unless something major happens before that date, then he will post earlier.
Thanks Meri-Lou. Misread it. It's time to go get more coffee. Well hopefully we will have some major developments before Friday.
Thanks for the update Bo. The next news I expect to hear is that Vivi has been found and secured!
Anyone who wants to adopt a Jack Russell please read on- received this from a freind:
We're fostering a Jack Russell Terrier is anyone is interested or knows anyone who is interested in
adopting him!
We brought him home tonight. He is a little confused but he is a great little guy. He is two years or younger, 16 pounds, great with other dogs and cats (he ignores Toby the Dog and said hello to Pavel the cat by gently touching noses and then ignored him too. He is very likely the most chilled out Russell I have EVER seen. He does like to play, though! He especially likes soccer. He found a soccer ball in my back area of my building and proceeded to play with it like Pele. He knocks it in the air using his head and fetches it over and over again so you can kick it for him. He literally rolls it back to you every time. He is as handsome as can be. He doesn't appear to be a chewer, isn't a barker unless playing with that soccer ball, and is house broken and knows basic commands. All that said, he is a Jack Russell that has been in and out of shelters for the last year so he is scared and confused and can get a little defensive with men he doesn't know. He probably wouldn't do well in a home with small children as they are very grabby. This is likely how he found his way to us and the other shelters he has been in. That will probably go away (with adults) as he finds his forever home and gets a schedule. He has all his shots and is fixed.
He finally decided he liked Jason a few hours ago and has followed him around all night, much to Toby's dismay. He even licked him all over his face an hour ago and we really didn't think that would happen so quickly. Toby had some similiar issues when we rescued him and now he is a new dog. A little love goes a long way. If anyone knows of someone looking, let us know. Thanks! We are in Queens, NY and will be happy to show him to anyone who is seriously interested!
All the best,
Becky and Jason

If interested in adopting please email me and I will forward pictures of the cute little thing and contact info.

Lydia, does Becky know why this little guy has been in and out of shelters? Any specific problems indicated, i.e. housebreaking, etc.??
Lydia
Jack Russels's are the best dogs. I have two now. Very energetic. Thank God I have a fenced in back yard because they love to run. I'm sure you will find someone that wants him.
Good question. Jack Russells aren't easy and he might have just been in the wrong house. "Isn't he cute"
I have a email inot the adoptive temp parents but guessing the answer to why he's been in and out of shelters is what they put in prior email:
"He probably wouldn't do well in a home with small children as they are very grabby. This is likely how he found his way to us and the other shelters he has been in"
They do take alot of energy so maybe he's just been in the wrong households. Will post when I hear.
Ok- just got this back about the Jack Russell up for adoption here in NY (he is willing to relocate!):
"As far as we know, he has basically been shuffled around (hasn't actually been in a home) for about a year. I don't know what the originally circumstances were as to why he ended up in a shelter to begin with, but since then he was in the Bronx CACC and taken out before his kill date by a woman who runs a small rescue organization, who then "gave" him to our vet, where he's been since Thanksgiving. They worked with him a lot and now we have him. That's part of the reason why we offered to foster him, so that we all could get a better handle on what his issues might be and to help him work through them. He nipped Jason when we first met him last Thursday at the vet's office, but that is mostly because Jason tried to touch him on the nose unexpectedly. Since we've had him at our house, he hasn't tried that again, but we've also been very careful with him. We'll see how that works out over time…the vets office told us he's sensitive about being touched on the nose and the feet, so we haven't been pushing that issue, but we plan to work on it with him over time. "
It sounds to me like the owners, breeder and people in charge are just putting up barricades for any effort to try and find her. Every strategy is rejected, whether it is tried and true or unconventional. In the mean time, this poor dog is still running around. How terribly sad.
Disgusted? Oh dear, I am very disgusted! We've been doing sooooo well and now here comes a disgusting, uh, disgusted person with a very odd screen name.
We have said before, we can only do so much, the volunteers in NY, not WE in general. When it comes down to the final say, "the owners, breeder and people in charge" have the final say. We are just here to suggest and hope! VIVI WILL BE FOUND AND RESCUED, JUST CUT THE NEGATIVE CRAPOLA.
MaryL-California
Very well said MaryL - I AGREE
I agree also. It has been very nice recently and I hate to see someone try to start something all over again.
I think that by using a human name you have a better chance of starting a discussion here.
Remember ladies, ignoring is the best way to get rid of anything disgusting....
That person just sounds frustrated to me which is understandable. I just think that if there is a discussion to be had it is much easier to have it with a name than an adjective, which makes any thought sound stranger than it is and has the effect of being incendiary for some reason.
PS. 3rd post on same subject then I promise to be done with it. If you use a name and a real email address you also have the opportunity to have private discussion of your ideas by allowing people to email their responses to you.
Barbara- I think we are twin that were separated at birth! Great minds think alike.
PEOPLE- IGNORE the weirdos please! Do not waste your time and energy with their nonsense at tempting as it may be. Your time is way more valuable spent on things other than them.
'nuf said.
I think at some point and time we have all been discouraged but I have never felt disgusted. Actually, I'm beginning to feel a bit more positive as time moves on. One way or the other Vivi will be recovered that I'm positive of. There are things that just can't be done in the area she is in and common sense has to used here. I know it all sounds so easy..do this do that maybe they can...these things are all easier said than done. I want her recovered just as much as the next one and I'm sure her searchers want it even more. Don't you think if it could be done it would be done? Do you really believe her owners are putting up barricades for some sinister reason? What a shame if you do feel that way.
Well said Gail in Ct.
Hello All! TARA from California ...
Yes, I have broken my silence to share some encouraging news, from here in my neighborhood!
This past Thursday my neighbor's dog (blk. Lab) got scared and ran off ... She just bolted! My neighbor, Teri called me and said "Something is wrong with ROSIE!" I ran out of the house, in my PJ's ... and she was no where is sight! Oh NO! Now what do we do?
I said to myself... What have I learned from "the blog?" FLYERS!!!!!
Teri and I went about putting up flyers and by the next afternoon a guy called Teri and said, "I think I have your dog!" Praise the Lord!!!!!
Due to this blog, I was able to give some helpful information to my friend that enabled her dog to be returned to her!
I said several months ago.. "We are in for a long haul." And if you look at it like that, you just keep moving FORWARD every day ... With a good attitude, a positive attitude! And I know everything is being done that can be done for Vivi... and if you don't believe that, then just wait and see! God tells us, if we don't have anything nice to say... Don't say anything!
HINT.... HINT....."disgusted"
I also want to add that there is a "silent" Easily Offended Club ... There are a few of us, but we are out here... being "silenly offended"!!!
Keep up the good work you positive people!
Tara in California :-)
I think you're being a bit hard on "disgusted." Everyone wants to be positve and hope for the best. Likewise, people have gotten invested, emotionally, in this search and want to see a good ending. As time continues to go on and no resolution is reached, of course some frustration is going to set in. It's normal. If some people who've been following this saga become frustrated, I completely understand the frustration and can also understand the need to vent, particularly to other people who they think might understand.
Myself....I've been reading the updates from the time this all began, have ridden the ups and downs of the migration across greater new york city, and continue to hope for the best. That the dog made it this long, through the winter, through the snow, and hasn't been hurt or killed by the 57 bjillion cars she must have avoided is a miracle. That said, there are times I can't read this stuff as it seems never-ending. Give people a break if they get frustrated and feel the need to vent to others who they think may understand.
That's what I was trying to say. Not eveyrone expresses themselves perfectly but nothing about it struck me as disgusting or weird. Just plain frustration. I want it to be OK to disagree around here, even with me. That's how ideas come about, I think even if not from this one maybe from the next one. You don't want that next person to say, why bother.
That's a great story Tara. I did the same thing when I heard those JRT's were stolen in Charlotte. Sent them a model for a flyer and told them to get them up right away.
Maybe that post should have been signed Frustrated instead of Disgusted. One can only go by what they read and see. Of course a common name would be much better and have more impact.
Gail..... have to agree with you. We all get frustrated and disappointed ... But need to keep in perspective that everyone out here, for the most part, is trying to help with this endever and that means Vivi's family too. I saw how disturbed my neighbor, Teri was in the loss of her dog, Rosie, for over 24 hours. I feel blaming the owners/family of Vivi, is not a productive thought process. I'm sure "digusted" in frustrated ... I am too ... And sometimes disappointed ...Tara in California :-)
Tara that was a great job you did and very fast thinking on your part. It's so hard to do that when everyone is not thinking clearly and the first 48 hours is so crucial in finding a lost animal.
OK now folks, its ok to be disgusted and frustrated, but why the mystery screen names, why not come out come out whoever you are and say what you want? I vent, I feel better if my venting isn't too stupid..heh
I think we all feel love for Vivi and want only whats best for her..She's our special girl and we want her rescued..Viva la Vivi!
MaryL-California
Hi everyone -- still hoping and praying daily that Vivi will decide she's had enough of the wild life! Hope our local volunteers will let us all know if they need anything, such as posters, supplies, etc.
Beth they do need more flyers, Diane had posted it. Someone said they are pulling down the posters faster than the flyers but I don't remember who it was. I sent some today and I'll send some tomorrow. They are always in need of tape, staples etc. I'm not sure if it's better to send the things or just send a staple's gift card and let them get what they need.
No more negative posting by people with negative names. It is not helpful. We are doing our best to make this blog positive and uplifting –so people will think good thoughts and encourage each other through Vivi’s journey. We know Vivi will stay around. She won’t head for the ocean. One day she will be caught. And we will be proud of our positive outlook. It doesn’t matter that we do not know where she is or do not receive information on her sightings. A kind person will befriend her one day. We need to keep our cool and be positive and make fliers.
Hello all and espcially Gail in CT,
Last week I ordered two boxes of heavyweight page protectors from Office Depot online. I researched a few places and learned these were the cheapest. I had them shipped directly to Diane at the address we have been instructed to send flyers. I don't have access to inexpensive printing and I thought my money would go further this way. Just a thought on how to contribute other supplies like tape, etc.
Teresa
What about printing the fliers on full-page labels. I know there was some discussion in the past about tape and staples and so forth. The full-page labels would also make it harder to pull the fliers off the poles or wherever else they're stuck to.
Everyone please try to not be so hard on "Disgusted." I can understand somewhat their thoughts.
The suggestions were posted for the traps by Bo himself, then when everyone researched and helped the suggestion suddenly became impossible because of the public areas. Maybe Bo should research these ideas before posting in the future and before getting everyone's hopes up.
I am trusting in our God above to keep Vivi and all these other strays safe, but everyone must feel at some point Vivi's (and Sniffles and Biggie's) time may run out. That is why we are so tense about what appears to be no action, just a "wait and see" attitude on the part of the owners.
I believe maybe more is going on than we are being told about - at least I certainly hope so.
In the meantime remember that good ideas often come out of conflicting views. If we all think the same, we will not see new ideas coming forward. Give disgusted a chance to maybe present some new and different ideas. Respect ALL people. We are all God's children.
Teresa our Office Depots are going out of business here, online would be the only way that's a good idea. I have some flyers I'm sending without covers because I'm out of them and I'm told that's ok as they have some on hand to use.
Lisa E That sounds good, using labels, but it would be expensive to do so don't you think?
Kathleen, I think the main problem we have with "Disgusted", is we're disgusted with the screen name...Why is DISGUSTED hiding..No need to hide. Of course ideas are great, but I'm disgusted and offended by Disgusted..(Oh my, I owe you know who 50 cents for offending someone and also for my being offended...) (o:

I respectfully disagree. The most important funtion of this blog is to be positive. The blog cannot do anything to help except respect the privacy and decision of the owners. Little Vivi will be fine, just fine, until she is befriended and returned. Bo said she looked beautiful, well fed and happy with more food than ever expected. So no more talk of danger or time running out and heaven forbid any thought of her leaving this area. We can send money to Bobbi and the Strays and make fliers and be positive. Conflict solves nothing. And no one wants arguments with the posts getting ugly and the fun of our efforts is spoiled. So cheer up.
I am thinking the main problems they are having with using traps or any strategy really, is she is constantly moving in such a wide area from one place to another and they never know where she'll show up next... and they can't contain her in one area were they know she'll keep coming to regularly. It would be much easier to use any strategy if she would just stay put... If she shows up in one area only a few times and then the next sighting she is in a whole different place has to make this much more frustrating.
I'm content not knowing where Vivi is each day. Because that is not important any more... we are trusting the owners to make those decisions. We would be told if she wasn't sighted I am sure or if she was caught. With all the food available, she will not leave this area. And why would conflict solve anything for us? We will not go against the owner's and we certainly can't find her and coax her in ourselves. We wouldn't even know where to start. So it is silly to have long discussions that prove pointless. We need to send money and make fliers. That's what I'm doing.
Dear Disgusted:
I tried to e-mail you for a private pep talk and you no longer exist ... if you ever existed. That's strange. At least if you have something to say, why can't it be said in the open and commented on in a reasonable manner? From what I've read here on the blog, everyone will be considerate and the bloggers respect and treat each other properly. I guess you don't agree. Then again I suppose that if you want to be part of the blog, you can't afford to upset anyone ...but that is not what happens here. So next time stick around.
For those of you who want to help with sending posters or supplies, here is Diane's address:

This is for eyeryone who is out there searching and posting flyers for Vivi as I do not know all of you, I will be out tonight posting and I was told we need as much help tomorrow as possible to post flyers. Even if you can go after work for a few hours like me, but please if there are people please let me know as this is important to get certain areas covered as fast as possible. If you know someone who doesn't blog please tell them also. Thank you for all who is helping to post flyers, now I am heading out to get started on the night shift.
A big, heartfelt THANK YOU to Debbie and all of you who continue to put up flyers and posters. It's your efforts that will make the difference in the end. Because of you, someone is going to call and say that they have Vivi and she's ready to go home.
I am a close friend of CPF and she has now taken the honor of calling herself disgusted. Who else leaves fake email address? I know for a fact she got some mail from bloggers telling her to keep her nasty opinions to herself. They also told her they were going to contact her ISP. She waited a little while but could not help herself. Today she is BACK calling herself disgusted !!! I can't leave my real name she may go psycho on me . I think it is a matter of just playing it out with Vivi . What else can people do? We may be worried and tense even somewhat going out of our minds, but , don't you think Jil feels the same way? I don't think anyone has given up on Vivi, sure it may be a matter of time, but isn't life a matter of time? Vivi will be captured, and in the meantime I understand having to vent but venting is NOT the right approach!! you should ONLY be hoping for the best not expecting the worst!! thats because their are good people here , on the grounds looking for her everyday (god bless them). And another thing their have been several sightings in the last week or so and that is all the hope we need. Remember we are not going to catch her , because we can't chase her so it really is a matter of time and we need to understand that. I'm also very sure Jil and Rick and all Vivi's family are doing everything they can . Bo did not say no to anything, he left it up to Jil if we read carefully we'll see that . So for those of you who are negative or second guessing the family please stop! It is NOT your dog. Get your head out of the mud and wake up. She has been sighted can't we atleast be happy she's ok ? We should be but SOME of you expect tooooo much and if it were me yes I would let you in on the info , but I'd also hate reading this blog and seeing all these things said about me when almost all of you don't know who I am or what my intentions are, are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BIGGIE "PUG" MISSING SINCE 3/3/06 FAWN AND BLACK 4YRS OLD BLUE COLLAR MISSING FROM WOODSIDE SUNNYSIDE AREA COULD BE ANYWHERE POSSIBLY BKLYN..WAS LOST CLOSE TO THE BQE..HUGE REWARD FOR HIS RETURN...PLEASE CALL 646 633 9835 OR 212 927 8561..ANY INFO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED...DO NOT WANT TO GIVE UP..PLEASE ANY INFO...HE IS GREATLY MISSED AND OUR FAMILY IS BROKEN HEARTED....:0(
Dear Disgusted:
See how wrong you are to even be disgusted. Shame on you. Stay away from the blog with comments that only incite nice people who want the very best for Vivi. Remember everyone...ignore the bad...think and type only the uplifting.
Be brave. Use your name like everyone else does or don't post.
CPF has the same IPS as, uh, "a fact"..how special is that? Yahoooooooo!
It's A FACT, I get DISGUSTED, but I'm still BURNING A CANDLE FOR VIVI.. (o:
MaryL-Califofnia
Pardon me but I tried to find the rules for the blog by doing a thorough job of investigation. Some blogs require passwords ..other no profanity..not even phony symbols to replace profane words...and some say no criticism allowed. But for the life of me, I did not find a rule covering the name I am allowed to use. Besides, burning the candle for Vivi is such a sweet name ..and so appropriate..what could it hurt? Now disgusted and what ever other name that person uses with initials seems pretty bad and I've read a few posts that for certain must be phony. I promise only to be polite and supportive.
PS: Just for everyones information, and some of you don't care heh heh, all of the odd names in todays blog, have AOL as a server...Think maybe they are all the same persona non grata? Seems like it to me..
MaryL-California
Fine it's me - CPF is back !!!! I used the write email address, to bad it does not exist. But I am right about everything I said - you know it and so do I. I never thought Jil was the only wrong one here because ALL of you give stupidity a new name I will not go any further then that . I have wat tooo much class! I was trying to be nice but now you've done it again. Here comes the evil in me.
I Priority Mailed 300 neon colored flyers in sheet protectors to Diane today. Diane, you should have them tomorrow or Thursday.
I think that the recent news is promising, and am hopeful that Vivi seems to be gaining more trust in people. It's only a matter or time, and more fliers ...
If you want something to be upset about, I'll give you an example.
I just witnessed a sad story in Memphis on our news. Not only did our Center City Commission have a beautiful Bartlett Pear tree cut down (on Sunday, know they paid a lot for that one - Easter Sunday), but the downtown residents and a restaurant manager at Stella's downtown had told them this tree was the home for a pet squirrel all the people knew and loved, Leroy.
The Stella owner was there and told them Leroy was in the tree. They cut it down anyway, broke Leroy's back and now he is dead, and his mate is sitting in another tree grieving for him. They showed her and it was so pitiful. She was curled up and so sad.
I am SO FURIOUS in Memphis, why do people want to destroy nature and hurt innocent creatures. They tried to say there was a miscommunication, but everyone knows they are not telling the truth. Some of the people feel Leroy's mate may even be pregnant.
I know it was "only a squirrel," but people loved him and he had a mate and last, but not least, he was God's creature.
Sorry, had to vent. I have been really crying about this. The story was heartbreaking, and the picture of the remaining mate just broke my heart.
"Burning the candle".... please post your name or don't post at all, positive or not. On another note, the post has been sooooo positive and good in the last couple of days and now we have negativity back... let's lose that (yet once again)and stay positive and upbeat. I am thankful for the silence about where Rick may or may not be, for the silence about Vivi sightings, silence around info to us "bloggers".... I am sure things are happening and we do not need to know every detail. I am so picturing positive things happening that we will hear about when Vivi is in Rick's arms, in First Class, winging her way home.... that's where my heart is. She could be there now!!!! Stay positive! And, for those of you who will not state your names, get off this post. You absolutely have the right to state your convictions and opinions, but stand behind them publicly with your name. "Disgusted" and "Burning the Candle" own up to who you are. Keeping the Faith and really Burning the Candle, Marnie in CA
That's a sad story. At least there is someone like you bearing witness.
I want to second the heart felt thank you to all Vivi's earth angles... who tirelessly have been devoting all their spare time searching and putting up flyers and posters for weeks now. It must be tiring and thankless work at times... but you never stop! I truly believe all your hard work is what will finally bring Vivi home.
I too believe there is a lot being done behind the scenes that we don't know about. I'm glad they are keeping it off the blog... people and the volunteers directly involved with the search are the only ones that need to know.
CPF/A Fact: "wat too much class"????? "write" e-mail address.... Too bad you can't even spell!!! Your message is so riddled with spelling mistakes that it makes one wonder!! As if we all didn't already wonder about you. "Too much class..." oh honey, you have no idea. I won't lower myself to even point out all of your other spelling and grammatical errors... Marnie in CA (not afraid to sign her name, ever!!)
Hello everyone, I think the majority of people who check on this blog are silent. We pray and pray, please God watch over all the animals out there, help them to find a safe place.
I am not easily offended! occassionally a few unkind words trickle in, but no one can ruin the good work that has been done and continues to be done here.
Marnie G - Sorry, no more negativity on this post. Of course, that will also rule out being realistic as well. Whether we wish to admit it or not, Vivi could at any time be hurt by another animal or run in front of a car. The time factor IS a factor, and that is why we are always trying to come up with some way of helping her sooner rather than later. All the flyers in the world cannot stop her from being in danger. And note, I do sign my real name and you know me.
I will not post any more "negative" stories also.
Thank you Karen. I know it sounds crazy to be upset over a squirrel, but the pictures would break your heart. Someone even put a plaque saying "RIP" there for Leroy. How anyone could cut down a tree with a living creature in it and just let that creature suffer such a painful death is beyond me. Leroy died from a broken back.
The restaurant owner was there and tried to stop them, but they would not listen to him. He thinks they chose to do this on Easter Sunday knowing pretty much all the local people in that area would not be there at that time. I think he is right.
I am so glad that everything is being kept silent!!! I am so happy! I so feel that just Rick and the family and the searchers on the ground should be in the loop. I have my candles lit and am so ever more hopeful and sending positive energy. As much as I can do from CA. It's the quiet before the dawn and Vivi will be home. Staying silent and with good faith, Marnie in CA
Did someone say on the blog today we could send a gift card to Diane to buy whatever she needed to buy. Please let me know asap
I write to impress myself, not YOU. If I mess up in my writing, I don't give a hoot . Many people who have things to say mess up while typing fast. No one is perfect ! Have you not seen the BIG PICTURE HERE ? You can type in any address Hotmail, aol, whatever I want and it goes through. It's not them it's me. Ha ha !!! it was wat ment to be WAY incase such a smart person couldn't figure it out.
Seriously? This is what you do to impress yourself? No sense making things too challenging, I guess.
There's a lot of positive energy on this blog, but this is the United States. If people feel emotions - frustrated, angry, upset, etc. they should be able to express their feelings, positive or negative. It's your choice to plug into what people are posting - or not.
If people are too chicken@#$% to post something with their real name, that raises a flag for me that their credibility has gone way down. We already have the anonymity of the internet, why do they need a disguise?

Kathleen: I do know you. Please know that my attempt to always be positive is not a mask for not realizing "reality".... or being "realistic" quite the contrary.... what I can envision in reality... and have since February 12.... is a place I don't want to go to, except I do go there every single night when I attempt to go to sleep thinking about this little girl I don't even know. I know reality and what's realistic.... I just try to counteract those nighttime, sleepless visions with daily overloads of positive thinking. That's where I am... publicly. sorry for the double post. Computer hiccup...
I admit I am new to this blog and the past few days of reading has been fun. I don't understand the e-mails I am getting from one person demanding to tell them who I am. As I said, Denise did not post rules concerning identity. It seems to be an over-reaction to blame anyone with an AOL ISP as being the same person or something else I haven't quite figured out as yet.... it is too confusing to make sense.
Since anyone can assume any identity and post under any e-mail address, sorting out who is who and then being upset and sending accusations seems a bit theatrical.
I thought everyone here was nice and at least sane. Now I have serious doubts. I guess a few people run this blog and that is all there is to it. Farewell all. There are other Vivi sites to read. Enjoy the theatrics.
Well thats the name sorry about initials but I because I have some founded ideas on ViVis plight but didnt really want to be in the core I just used initials regardless I'm a dog person and this situation is very perplexing . Without a dedicated volunteer pledged not to chase but armed witha couple tasty sandwiches at every repeated sighting locale this could go on for ever ( sorry but it could) My greyhound Zak (not ZB) was extremely people and food oriented and I really cant imagine this happening unless he was relentlessly tormented for a couple weeks ( which may have happenedto ViVi) Do all of the municipal services departments ( trash collection, private trash garbage pickups contractors, and road maintenance know about Vivi and once again - all the police departments. my biggest concern and amazement about this is her avoiding traffic because frankly my greyhound ZAK was absolutely clueless about traffic or other dangers.
