Ladies and gentlemen: Start your seeds!

It's finally seed-starting time for some vegetables here on Long Island. Here's a handy planting chart to help you time your garden. These dates are based on tried-and-true research conducted by Cornell University.

Here is a very nify, free online tool for seed starting no matter what zone you're in. Just plug in your first and last frost dates and (voila!) it tells you what to start and when to start it.
