We knew him before he went guido ...
When our old pal and colleague Justin Rocket Silverman was still part of the amNewYork gang, we worked with him on videos about stuff like one-legged bike messengers (see below) and pieces that asked questions like whether Loisada still had soul .
But since the NY Post lured him away, we've observed a subtle transformation in our eco-friendly friend. First, we saw him grow a mustache. Then, he took a look akin to the Dapper Don wearing a Brione-style suit made of recycled materials. Then he ditched his two green wheels for four and cruised around town in rented red hot rod.
And now -- the lastest phase in his evolutionary process: Guido
He adopted the look to play a trick on mayor of Belmar, NJ after hizzoner dissed the Staten Island "guidos."
All we know is that spray-tan doesn't wear off for a few days... so maybe this is Justin's chance to start moonlighting as a George Hamilton impersonator?
