1 p.m.: Battery Dance Company presents the 27th Annual Downtown Dance Festival today at Governors Island Chase Plaza (Nassau & Pine) and The Lawn at Battery Park (State & Pearl) [Details].
6 p.m.: The Sync or Swim party at McCarren Park Pool. It's a screening of a the first-ever behind the scenes documentary about Olympic Synchronized Swimming. The pool party (beach balls, kiddie pool and more) is at 6 p.m., the film starts at 8 p.m.; $5 Suggested Donation.
