Williamsburg Zipcar pickup now less zippy
Zipcar hipsters - it's time to start the calisthenics. You've got some walking to do.
This boarded up lot at the corner of N. 12th St. and Bedford Ave. used to be the north Williamsburg Zipcar pickup spot. Now, it's not. Instead, it will likely soon become yet another towering complex of glass-facade condos that no one moves into.
According to the map below, north Williamsburgers will now have to schlep to S. 9th and Kent near the Williamsburg Bridge, or all the way over to Nassau Ave. in Greenpoint for their pickups - which are now decidedly a little less zippy.

"ALL the way to Nassau Ave in Greenpoint" It is literally a walk across the tar courts from the old parking spot. Jeez.
