Entourage 5/8: Jamie-Lynn Sigler rocks!
Jamie-Lynn Sigler definitely secured a spot on the Season 5 Joshie Award ballot for Best Guest Star, and not just because she's smokin' hot.
She was hilarious.
From the little hissy fit about not getting an aisle seat (been there!) to being ignored by a flight attendant (been there, too!) to being on a plane in the moments after ending a relationship (yep, been there, too!).
Seeing her trash Turtle in public has a bit of been-there-done-that feeling for longtime viewers, but that's not her fault. Yet, her explanation to Johnny Drama after he apologizes was fantastic.
And that's not the last we'll see of Jamie-Lynn, either. She signed on for a three-episode arc. A little more math: Mrs. Ari, oops, Perrey Reeves, told me on the red carpet at the Season 5 premiere that Turtle gets a girlfriend this season. (Check the 2:50 mark of that video link.)
Hmmm, could it be? I vote yes! (But I'm a bit biased since Jamie-Lynn is a fellow Long Islander and just so happens to be beautiful.)
P.S. Speaking of fellow Long Islanders (actually, shouldn't it be "Writing of . . . "?), did anyone else catch the nod Kevin Connolly threw to his alma mater, Patchogue-Medford High School? That's right, folks. The Raider football T-shirt he wore getting off the plane in the beginning of the episode had nothing to do with Oakland and everything to do with Long Island. 6-3-1 in 'da house!

go jamie .. she just looks really great
this was by far the best episode of this season i hope it just keeps gettin better
I hate to say it but I disagree I didn't care for her at all on the show last night and not too happy that she may be coming back she always plays the same role, herself a spolied bitch. As for the rest of the show EXCELLENT! I think Ari made the right choice, like his wife said he doesn't like taking orders from anyone. I love that he got Dana the job and shoved it right up Amanda's butt! Love the season so far!
I think the shirt was a Bayside Raiders shirt because there from bayside aren't they??????
It could've been a suffolk Long Island shirt also...
Mike: Kevin Connoly is from Long Island born and raised.
I heard through the grapevine that the shirt connolly wore on the show last night was a tribute to a true american hero and patchogue-medford grad, LT. MICHAEL MURPHY. Murphy was a navy seal who gave his life for all of us in afghanistan. Murphy played football at pat-med and wore #24, same as connolly last night. Well done Kev!
Did you guys know that Ferrara is now dating Sigler in real life?
NATE: SORRY THAT'S NOT TRUE
I thought she was good. Now, I wasn't a huge Soprano's fan, so I wouldn't know if she's playing the same character. I'm looking forward to seeing her in the coming weeks.
As far as Ari's "bait and switch," it was great. From the look of the previews, we may get to see if Ari and Amanda are right about Vince's acting ability, though. Either way, it'll be nice to see Vince back on set. The Vince-out-of-work thing was starting to get a little old.
Mark please, '6 - 3 - 1' in 'da house'?
Any long islander worth his salt knows its really the '5-1-6'. You're old enough to know that and I bet growing up Connolly was in the '516' crew as well.
Besides Doug Ellin's from Merrick which is in the '516' as well. C'mon dude, I expect more out of fellow Nassau County born and bred Entourage watcher.
here something about ferrara and sigler

NATE: I stand corrected looks like they are dating off the set. I am a bit curious as to why he would date her though she seems a bit stuck up bitchy on and off camera and if you know him at all he is a very laid back easy going cool guy. Oh well whatever floats your boat I guess.
MY COUSIN REALLY DID ROCK! We love JAIME!!! As soon as we heard she was going to be on Entourage, we knew it would have something to do with TURTLE!!! Hilarious!!! She does play the attitude role pretty well- I think it's her connecting with our Cuban side of the family, mainly her awesomely outspoken grandmother! ;) LOL Love it!!! Can't wait to see you again---we miss the SOPRANOS and hope to see more of Jaime....!!!!!
paul,
i'm a 516 kid to the core. was just showin' a little love for my 631 homies. trust me, u'll see at mulcahy's in wantagh before the one in centereach. then again, i'm over 21, so maybe mulcahy's isnt the best spot anymore. just playin, mulc's!
adriana,
"it's her connecting with our Cuban side of the family." hilarious analysis. thanks!
La Monica....
MULCAHYS? in Wantagh.
I was spending money in Mulcahy's when it was just a decent little station bar in the 70's.
Often a first stop before hitting the more popular Rusty Hinge in Seaford. (long gone now--was on Wantagh Ave between Merrick and Sunrise-east side)
BTW, have met and worked with Sigler's dad and brother on many occasions via Men's Senior Baseball.
Outstanding people.
