Christmas TV: David Letterman, 'American Chopper'

David Letterman's Christmas tradition lives!

Yes, it's an "encore" CBS will be airing Tuesday night with Darlene Love's traditional singing of "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)," a repeat of the Dec. 22, 2006 "Late Show With David Letterman." But considering the ongoing writers' strike, it's better than no Love at all.

Other Christmas Tube additions:

TV One is going nearly wall-to-wall with holiday shows this Friday and Saturday, Dec. 21-22, and again Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, featuring such series as “Boston Public” and “Wanda at Large.”

Discovery's HD Theater offers up high-def holiday decorations and “American Chopper” yule bikes [above]. See listings for DISC HD.

And Gospel Music Channel begins airing Christmas music 24 hours a day at 8 p.m. Friday.
