OFF THE WALL/ONLINE: Gay TV guide
Just when you were wondering how to find only gay-oriented TV shows, along comes Queery.
Its “TV gay guide” site peruses each day’s listings to locate programs aimed specifically at that particular persuasion. Its grid is even color coded to reflect whether each show’s emphasis is lesbian (pink, of course), gay (what else but blue?), or “either/or” (a lovely pea green). You can click to limit choices to specific channels, too.
Friday’s 150 picks, for instance, include Showtime’s “The L Word,” HBO’s “Rome,” Oxygen’s Barbra Streisand movie “The Prince of Tides,” IFC’s John Waters flick “Polyester,” VH1’s “The Surreal Life 6” (with either/or Alexis Arquette), ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” repeat (blue, just so you know), and Comedy Central’s “Reno 911!”
There’s even, ahem, CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360.”
