Zac Efron as Alan Strang in Equus?
Might Zac Efron take over for Daniel Radcliffe in the Broadway revival of EQUUS? I highly, highly doubt it. But rumors are flying. Apparently, Efron referenced the possibility on the red carpet. But might a reporter have taken him out of context? Maybe he referred instead to the possibility of doing a Broadway show, and pointed to how Daniel Radcliffe is now making his stage debut? Logistically, the EQUUS revival is supposed to close in February and Radcliffe is set to stay the entire run. MARY STUART already has dibs on the Broadhurst Theatre in the spring. But if it actually happened, can you imagine how insane that would be?
