Brianna Taylor ready to unleash "Summertime"

Brianna Taylor is looking to become more than just the breakout star of this season of "The Real World." Her debut single, "Summertime," (Chamberlin) hits iTunes and Amazon.com tomorrow and after an apperance at Billboard magazine last week, she told Backstage Pass how she's already focusing on music as her career.
"I can't wait to get started," said Taylor, adding that she may soon be added to the Menudo tour.
"Summertime" will soon be part of her storyline on "The Real World," as she meets Seaford's Matthew Bair at an after-party in Los Angeles, while he was on tour with Eve 6, and how he offers her his song to record. "Everything he says in the song was what I was going through at the time," she says, referring to her on-again, off-again relationship with her now ex-boyfriend on the show. "I loved the song."
Bair, who is currently working on the next Bandcamp album and resumes touring with Eve 6 later this month, was on hand to play guitar for Taylor at the Billboard showcase. He celebrates his own milestone today: His 21st birthday.

So here's a really good scenario for a band: It's playing songs at its CD release party that are so new, they aren't even on the CD.
