After spending a few months holed up in Brookville with Jennifer Lopez and their newborn twins Max and Emme, Marc Anthony has thrown himself back into his work.
He is currently working on three new albums, including a tropical album, a Spanish-language album of ballads an English-language one that includes collaborations with Billy Joel and Babyface, which Anthony hopes will all be released at the end of the year, according to Billboard.com. And he has set his first post-twins tour, his fourth annual Juntos en Concierto tour – this time out with Alejandro Fernandez and Aventura – which hits Madison Square Garden on Aug. 21. Tickets for the show – $49.50 to $139.50 – go on sale tomorrow (Friday) at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, 631-888-9000.
The tour, which kicks off July 26 in Los Angeles, will once again serve as a fundraiser for the ING Run for Something Better program, which fights childhood obesity. “Through my music, I want to make a difference in the lives of young people across the country,” Anthony said in a statement. “One way is by addressing the critical need to help reduce childhood obesity among Latino children.”
