• Stevie Wonder honored:
Librarian of Congress James H. Billington today named singer/songwriter Stevie Wonder ... as the recipient of the Second Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The award presentation will take place in the Great Hall of the Library on Feb. 23, 2009. As an added distinction to this year’s Gershwin Prize, the Library has offered, and Wonder has accepted, a musical commission.

• Wizards pick up guitars:
Come "wrock" with us at NYC's first ever wizard rock festival Sunday, September 21, 2008. This all-ages event will be headlined by the bad boys of wizard rock, Draco and the Malfoys. The NYC Wizard Rock Festival will be held at Public Assembly (formerly Galapagos) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
