You knew them when ... "Gossip Girl" edition

If I head straight home from work on Wednesdays, I’m able to catch the last couple minutes of the very addictive “Gossip Girl.” The show isn’t lauded for its stellar acting, but that isn’t to say the actors didn’t get a stab at show business beforehand. Here’s a look at where you know them from:

Nate, Chace Crawford (above)
2006’s teen flop “The Covenant” about a fratish gang of pretty boys (with lame names like Pogue and Reid) who are drunk on supernatural powers.

Rufus, Matthew Settle
The 2005 mini-series “Into the West” about white settlers and American Indians in the 19th century. I think Steven Spielberg had some hand in this production.

Serena, Blake Lively
“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” 2005, an adaptation of a book about friendship and magic pants that I watched on a flight back from France. All the good parts were cut out (curses to you, Air France). Lively’s in a sequel due out next year.

Gossip Girl, Kristin Bell
The acclaimed “Veronica Mars” WB series. Who knows why she’s pursuing a career in narration?
