We’re so happy that Taylor Momsen seems as genuinely sweet as the character she plays on “Gossip Girl” (Jenny Humphrey). Waiting for the Erin Fetherston show to start, the stunning teenage starlet stuck out her hand and said, “Nice to meet you,” when I asked if she had a minute to talk. The crazy part? I believed her!
The chatty Momsen, clad in a breathtaking Erin Fetherston flowered jacket/dress combo, told me about the overwhelming reception she’s gotten from NYC private school students. “One day we were filming on the Upper East Side and these kids ditched school to watch. It was so cool. But then the teacher came and yelled at them to get back to class,” she said. Aw! And ew!
Also there were actress Anne Hathaway and boyfriend Raffaello Follier, who were surrounded by a mob of cameras the second they were escorted in. Anne looked extremely happy and held her honey's leg during the entire show.
No so happy? One of the models, who literally looked like a scene out of “Night of the Living Dead.” Each time she walked the runway, attendees giggled and pointed. Hmm, I didn’t know fashion shows could be scary.
