“We took the great Gap classics and made them relevant. We got the cool back in,” said top design talent Patrick Robinson, the Gap’s new executive vice president of design, who worked the crowd at the presentation-style show at Exit Art on 10th Avenue on Sunday.
Indeed – groovy washed leather jackets and vests, cute drop-waist dresses, cozy waffle-weave sweaters seemed new yet familiar and were playfully and proportionately styled. Yay…the Gap is back.
