A show can't be sailing along smoothly when you start to count its mishaps. Was this tally the result of a long day of work? Maybe. Was it totally juvenile? Absolutely.
But, since the research is done, I might as well share what I counted at this season's Gottex show...
* Number of obvious wedgies on the catwalk: Five
* Number of models who blatantly tried to, ah, remedy the situation: one
* Pieces of jewelry dropped on the runway: three
Gottex fan Dr. Ruth Westheimer was there to witness it all (and to find new swimwear). "I hope they have something for a little old woman like me," she said before the show. The sex therapist then waved over former Ariel Sharon top advisor Asaf Shariv and informed me that she previously told him, "if he gets me a Gottex outfit, he'll have great sex."
This, coming from a 79-year-old woman. To his credit, Shariv didn't even blush.
