That's how the cookie crumbles

"So You Think You Can Dance" host Cat Deeley was left hanging at the Miss Sixty show when uber New Yorker Maggie Gyllenhaal showed up.

A hive of cameramen and reporters dashed away from Deeley a mere three seconds after Gyllenhaal hit the floor, even while the reality show host was still talking. Oops! Only a lone camera crew remained to let her finish her sentence.

Demi Moore and Hilary Swank descended the stairs from the super-secret celebrity back entrance together a few minutes later. The twosome chatted and laughed (as their sizable entourages looked on), while pretending they didn't notice the zillions of boom mics and cameras that were thrust in front of their faces. Moore and Swank eventually climbed back up the stairs (to get their game faces on?), before finally deciding to join the rest of us. And, when they did, it was madness.

"These people are animals," an TV show host whose name I can't recall scowled as we were both shoved aside. "Did you get the shot?" he asked his cameraman seconds later when he emerged from the fray. Ha!

A very red-lipped, t-shirt wearing Mischa Barton snuck in right before the show began and sidled up to Joy Bryant, who she chatted and giggled with through out the event.

The Sixty show went off without a hitch, save for a poor model whose onesie briefs keep creeping up her, uh, cheeks. She attempted to casually remedy the situation to no avail and smiled self-consciously when she turned to walk back. Her new thong-style bottom left little to the imagination (and was exposed to a boatload of photographers), but at least she kept her head up.

Whatta pro!
