Sailing into Fashion Week at Nautica
The heat is on backstage at the Nautica show, where dressers and semi-nude models are prepping for the big performance.
Overheard behind the scenes: "Models-you MUST be wearing Nautica underwear!" "Do the walk again but let's look more flirtatious this time," and, my personal fav, "What do we do about all the tattoos?!"
Veteran dresser Xina Giatas said the craziest part of the show is always, "when a model is backstage, you're changing him and then they call their name." Yikes!
We're told some models will be barefoot because there aren't enough shoes to go around. Oh well! At least it fits with the nautical theme.
