Hot times at Rosa Cha
It was so hot waiting for the Rosa Cha show to start I wished I’d been in one of the designer’s bathing suits. Well, not really, but you get my drift. And, obviously, there wasn’t a bottle of water to be found in all of Bryant Park.
But the heat didn’t seem to be getting to Ivana Trump, who looked stunning in a long-sleeved dress. “I’m shopping here today,” she told me. “I spend four months a year in Saint Tropez. I live in a bikini.”
So how does she keep her bathing suit-perfect figure? “There’s no secret. I exercise and eat very carefully and healthily," she said.
While Ivana couldn’t have been nicer, one star (or at least her publicist? manager? friend?) wasn’t as friendly. I approached Mena Suvari to ask a few questions, when her sidekick rebuffed my advances. “We really need a minute,” she said. Manners, please! But to Mena's credit, I will say she looked gorgeous, with her blond pixie cut, huge gold earrings and silky purple dress.
After that, I took my seat and was pleasantly surprised to find the most awesome gift bag idea ever: A pillow! Even if it was hot in there, at least I had a pillow to lean on.
