Let's hear it for Nigel Barker!
"The America's Next Top Model" judge and photographer has shown up on time (and even early) to every show he's attended. The same can't be said for his celebrity peers.
"Somebody has to do the right thing," he said, after I called him out on his good habits. Barker said he's been to 12 shows so far and was especially impressed with Lyn Devon. "She had a completely concurrent look," he said. "It really stood out and a young designer needs to do that."
At 11:10 a.m., 10 minutes after the Nanette Lepore show was supposed to begin, Barker was ready to check out the clothes. But he doesn't blame designers for their tardiness. "Really there's a lot going on," he said, diplomatically. "Everyone's running around like crazy.They spend months planning for a six minute show, so it's understandable that it may run late."
